Thank you for this insight. I was thinking along the same lines with these verses, but in my copy in verse 17 the word sodomite is used instead of the word promiscuous. Would these sexual acts of harlotry among men be those of homosexuality? In a way it does put a man on the same level as a promiscuous woman literally.

Good day Gerrit and Martie. I believe you are touching on a very topical issue and thank you for doing so. I have struggled with this question myself and totally agree that one should not judge those followers of Yeshua who keep the annual festivals BUT at the same time we should not judge those followers of Yeshua who do not keep the festivals. I have prayed about this and found answers that resonate with my believes. The festivals are foreshadowing the Messiah. The Messiah (Yeshua) has come and one can reason that we do not have to keep the festivals because the Messiah already came and that our Jewish brethren will continue these annual festivals because they believe the Messiah is still to come. However, there is one festival that I believe the Holy Spirit kindled in me to keep, and that is the Sukkot, The Feast of Tabernacles, simply because I believe that the returning of Messiah (Yeshua) will be during the (a) feast of Tabernacles. Zechariah 14 elaborates on the importance of this festival for all people, whether Jew or Gentile. I therefore keep this festival because the Messiah must still return. I am a willing learner, please continue with this important education. Warm regards Andre

when i hear this i felt in my spirit that you are on to something, for i have been having this feeling of the people are not ready and we are just telling people that it will be ok it will be ok but in reality no one ever speaks about why we need to get ready... i myself is aquanted with some of the hebrew teachings been blessed to hear some of the things that have been tought but i am very guilty of not keeping some of the important days for i work almost every day of my life and its hard just to say im leaving for sabith, and even now im at this point of what now should i just pack up and leave i mean that would be the right thing to do in the end but i have big responsibilitys i try to keep but in which is so hard so i ask you pray with me that i will get to this as soon as i should and on what Father has planned for me..
