I live up 99 in Fresno and have attended many, many March Meets and HRR events over the years before multiple back injuries now prevent me from attending. Cool to see a behind the scenes video. It seems the rules make these cars eat themselves up. Short tire, rear gear limit and the single smallish fuel pump aren’t a great mix for engine longevity. It’s a shame as they can’t even come close to fielding a full 16 car field anymore (I think that’s crazy that they wouldn’t field all 16 cars that showed up). Especially compared to the number of funny cars which clearly are easier on parts. Thanks for the video.

Video clip is labeled "Original Sound ".. That is the most quiet boring machine i have ever heard 🤓 Justin, when,if ever, would You bolt a block stiffener ( gridle ) to the casting for this operation ? Thank You and Best Wishes to everyone.
Man that has to be a lot of fun running boats. The number 1 guy seem like he never lifted an that boat was hauling butt. Thanks for sharing.
Great “working vacation”. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your content and glad that you had a good time down in UnZud. So many memories from my youth boating those Sth Island rivers. Makes me really homesick. That boat of Rivers was so dialled in.What a joy to watch. Serious brave pills pushing that hard. Amazing.
Thank you for showing us injteresting boat race !. Don't know why but River's boat sounded all the same , when cornering and going straight. 🤔 May it be his throttle was all the way full ?. Can't wait to watch next update of your shop !.😄
Justin, Leigh Hubbard, Clay's Sister, just posted content while i was watching Your video so i went there to tell Her about the fantastic Sprint Boat content. Thanks again !
Opinion, First anything with a motor and to see a boat drive like that is pretty darn impressive,I love the content. I would value your opinion on a project "no prep small tire car, N/A on "fuel" competitive? I look at TAD and how it evolved is there any reason that technology can't be applied. Years ago we ran N-propane in our motorcycles, go-karts all the chemistries are similar. Just a thought
I loved the New Zealand content Justin, it was beautiful and those boats turn on a dime, unreal. Great video
I think that the jet sprint racing is fantastic Justin. I am grateful for the time You have spent to share the New Zealand trip. It will be interesting to learn more about Your shop improvements and the work on the race car. Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
dont look boring to me looks like hp...lol
Nice!
Amazing to watch hours in the old days, happen more consistently, in minutes…
Awesome sight Justin but I have to ask, where did you find Burt Munro's bike? Is it real or a model of it? Kind of looks like it in a shop of some sort? Pretty cool
Looks like a trip of a lifetime Justin. Who would think that motorcycle would be on display in a Hardware store!!
Is that Angry Hornet parts Justin ? That is top shelf milling right there.
Thank you for sharing this looks like a great time. The view of everything is awesome.
Not the kinda content one would expect with a channel name of angry hornet! 😁. Just by what your camera shows it does look awesome! I'm sure it's even more amazing in person. TYVM for sharing!
What a marvelous place to visit Justin. Thank You for sharing. Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends.
Nice to see Burts Indian at the end!
🏁👍🏁

Wow, I was just in Auckland for 9 days at the beginning of Feb!
Angry Hornet is Worldwide 😁
Fricken Awesome! Would like to see more of the travelling video's too. I've never been to NZ but have always wanted to. Especially to go Gliding ha ha! Epic stuff, cheers from Down Under.
Surprised you are in the southern hemisphere, followed you from the Top Fuel days. My sister was born in NZ, we are all over in Aust now. Enjoy your Kiwi holiday. 113 f in Perth, Western Australia yesterday where I am. Top fuel coming March 2-3, only a slight detour sure you could get a diver gig !!
Thank you. I'm puzzled how the navigator knows where the course is. I see the navigator giving hand signals, but how do they know which turn to take?
Welcome to Good Ole NZ. Hope you enjoy your time down under. Absolutely love your channel. :)
I seen jet sprints in background and knew immediately where you were!
Thank you for posting awesome boat race. On board camera was so exciting to watch !. Have a nice stay !.
The Prime Minister of Idaho COMPELS you to go fast!! Best of luck to River Rogers and the Rogers Toyota/Westside Sprint Boat!! Go Idaho! No Leighton on this trip?
Toto we are not in Kansas anymore .
First time that i have seen Your car on the track Justin. 2/20/24... Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
Thanks for bringing us along for the trip Justin. Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
Your in my country!! Wat.!!
I hope you enjoyed New Zealand. Hampton downs is owned Tony Quinn who also owns Queensland raceway in Australia. I've been to new Zealand once and only went to Auckland it was very quick trip and I need to go back have a good look around.
Not certain, but, ain’t Eric / Jolly Roger’s down there? Have a great time…
Such an underrated sport. Looks like you had a great time there and getting good weather in Wellington was a rare bonus! Can’t wait to see the South Island leg of your trip.
Enjoy New Zealand, it's a beautiful country. Good luck to your teams that you support.
Nice work. Thanks for sharing the process.
Thanks from England + your old block had core plugs (freeze plugs?) in it so you might want to have a weight for a set of them so you can adjust the weight saving on your new block for an accurate comparison.
And like the other detailed machinist that I follow. When you have issues with run out you address the issue before it becomes more of an issue. It can be a costly repair but its a contributing factor to compromising the quality of work you do. That's a contributing factor as to why your engines can hit the rpms that they do! 👍. TY for sharing!
Hi Justin, interesting as always. What are your thoughts on how Clay is doing at present?
A little extra work, but looks to me , a good upside for a race motor. Did ya do that in that sprint car 410 also?
Thank you for posting. Can't wait to weigh the block when it's done !.
I enjoyed learning about the machining of the lifter bushings and their installation. After doing this sort of thing for other people as Your day job, i would think it is satisfying to apply the knowledge and talent to Your own engine. Thanks for sharing Justin. Best Wishes to everyone.
That is going to be a nice piece when it's done Justin. Should make some great power
55mm Babbit......not roller bearing by the look of it..
Great Job, can i ask the Brand of that Line boring Machine, and does it do all 5 in 1 stroke..looks like the bed moves a long way...
