The Return (Short, 1973). A Ghost Story
The Return is an obscure film directed by Sture Rydman with the magnificent acting of Peter Vaughan (Steven Royds) and Rosalie Crutchley (Mrs. Park).
Royds wants to buy a property that has been empty for twenty years and has a sinister past. He insists to Mrs. Park on spending the night in the wedding chamber where something horrible happened.
The story is a blend of two ghost stories: Nobody’s House by A.M. Burrage, and The Middle Toe of the Right Foot by Ambrose Bierce.

Last scene from this amazing Venezuelan film "Pais Portatil" (Portable Country) based on the novel by Adriano Gonzalez Leon. Three generations of a rural Venezuelan family contend with political chaos and revolution in this confusing drama. The fragmented flashbacks set the time in the late 19th century, 1925, 1933, and the late 1970s. A patriarch boards a bus for a symbolic showdown with the p...

What’s with the rope in the mouth. Nobody in the hood does that.
By far the best scene in the series
Pathetic. Perhaps if it hadn’t’ t Been uploaded in 8bit
Let it be known that this scene stuck in my head for YEARS, but I couldn't remember the details of the episode plot or the names involved when I went to look for it. How did I find it? By typing "the mentalist keyser soze" into the search bar. It was the second result. I'm so glad that got me here, because it means I'm not the only one to draw that parallel to The Usual Suspects or recognize the same brilliance in a police procedural, of all things.
I never saw 1 episode. Tell me, was it any good ?
This is basically the same reveal as in _Primal Fear._ Excellent film, if you haven't yet seen it. Highly recommended 👌
Her mustache is almost as big as Davids.
Was great for some... I invested in the dispensaries and sat with my feet on the desk getting stoned for 5 years
Warum der Lappen in der Fresse
I remember this episode and really liked the series
No way a knife fight would go that long wthout anyone being cut
Couldn't get to the fight, the acting was too bad.
Funny how Carradine holds the knife in his right hand the entire time and when he stabs his rival the knife is suddenly in his left hand !!! 😂
The way you can see him transfer from a scared idiot to a hardened criminal is amazing
Please tell me the season and the episode of the series
Who says this is a good knife fight? Huge theatrical swings that lead you open to either a riposte or a counterattack. They wouldn't get past the first round in a fencing tournament anywhere.
I have a manual on Special Forces knife fighting. I thought you were supposed to have the knives reversed from what is depicted. Well, Hollywood and reality seldom meet.
Sam Starr (James Remar) was also in The Warriors (1979)
The final line is what hits he doesn’t know what Patrick lost and how much control he has over his emotions
Why is the guy smiling when he says yeah? If that were me I'd be like 'holup, you know the tell? Shit....'
They were having a great time at the knife fight until Carradine ruined it by stabbing his opponent with a knife
That's...not how knife fights go....
Not a woman to let your sausage at her lips.
I started training in martial arts when I was 9 years old so for 61 years I have practiced I am seventy-one I am a teacher of weapons in the World Tiagi Association but I could never fight with a knife like that's why I have false teeth and my teeth were made for a bigger man LOL
Fighting over that hag? 😅
Season episode number pleaseeee
Season 1, Episode 9 "Flame Red".
Stupid
Why did they have to overdub James Remar with someone else's voice? He didn't have any kind of strange accent that needed overdubbing.
He is a sorry version of Tim Roths show that got cancelled. This best of the Mentalist scene is a just a opening scene for every Lie to Me episode.
(James Remar) Sam Starr - the villain from the 48 hours movie. Dude was in everything. In 1985, Remar was fired from the cast of Aliens after being arrested for drug possession.
Which episode is this
After all these years, I still remember this moment.
What was the point of the rope between the teeth.... ?
This was meant as a joke, right? You chose a clip in which he has a belt stretched to length in his teeth? Wow. You thought this through.
Tommy Lee Jones takes this title imo. He did it in two movies even! Under Siege vs Steven Seagal and The Hunted vs Benicio del Toro.
and once again the downfall of every serial killer: the ego, narcissistic ways, having to have the last word. they are all idiots fictional or real who all try to be different but they are all the same
And he did it without getting any blood on his blade. Wow.
His knife was left stuck in the other guys leg. He kept the other guys knife that's why there isn't any blood on it.
I love you Simon Baker. ❤❤❤
I love you so mutch Simon Baker. ❤❤❤
They should have just shared a spit roast and a bottle of rye.
The long riders gotta be in the top 10 westerns
Bunch of psychopaths in that bar.
Ajax always had a woman effing him up! Aw Shucks! Peace
Did you notice David Carradine's knife was clean with no blood on it when he was sheathing it? Whose job was it to make it look real?
Carradine's knife was left in the other guy's leg. He kept the one that wasn't used that's why there's not blood on it.
Weak AF
Just more of Kwai Chang shewing on slattern's hosiery, as always.
Well, that's probably not the most stupid piece of "nonsense'( is that that ok now censors) that you will ever see in your life is it.
That's such an obvious fake tell.
amazing knife fight ...amazingly boring Carradine cheated by using kung-fu on the half-breed to gain the upper hand there is not nearly enough blood for a close-in knife fight case in point, see how there is absolutely no blood on Carradine's knife as he puts it in his sheath at 4:16
Watch closer. Carradine's knife is still in the other guy's leg
That's acting alright
