Out of all of these, the climate change stuff is the most unlikely to kill us. The climate is changing, but it's just warming up. The earth constantly gets warmer and colder throughout it's life. Use to be cold and now it's getting warm. Earth use to be a tropic so thousands of years down the line; we won't have polar ice caps anymore, deserts will change locations, and some current deserts like the Sahara will be Tropical instead lol. I don't believe at all that humans contribute a whole bunch to the climate. Any real human causes will take hundreds or even thousands of years for us to notice. It all seems perfectly normal to me and easy to avoid dying from. Weather gets hotter? Drink plenty of water. Simple as.

Yeah, ummmmm…. Starting off, the claim that an anthropogenic extinction event is more likely than a natural one is patently false. Just consider the fact that there have been many natural events versus absolutely zero human-generated ones. Also, most of these films make the event much more dramatic than they could ever be. Compare how the giant waves look to the actual videos of tsunamis, or think about how a cold-wave would function, remembering that heat is energy, and it has to go somewhere- it can’t just evaporate. A pole-reversal will happen, we are actually way overdue for one, considering the geological evidence. When it does it will not cause a huge geologic upheaval, there’s just no mechanism for that (the earth’s crust is not that magnetic). It will mess up electronics and might thin out the planet’s shield against solar radiation, but it will not be anything anyone will feel when it happens. So do NOT be afraid, people. These scenes are just Hollywood drama created to thrill the audiences. They are not real and cannot become so.

It's highly unlikely that an asteroid that big could hit Earth. In space the slightest nudge will send it off course and undoubtedly Nato and the Soviet bloc would launch their nukes at it and with that amount of force it would pretty much stop anything hitting Earth.
