What a shame Chris is an anti-American fascist socialist commie who supports the satanic radical Left and sadly, like so many other ignorant sheep, doesn't even have a clue. He, like so many, of the actual minority, have drunk their juice amd believed every lie that's twisted everything the Dems have stood for manipulating and brainwashing people like Chris to believe Republicans are saying them, when it's the Dems. I’m here after a search of Michael Penn/No Myth. I randomly found this song AGAIN and was so glad I did - it brought back memories. I loved No Myth from the 1st listen back in 90’s. I think it’s a crime that there’s not more today from Penn - musical genius. I just wanted to clear up a few things about your belief of Christian conservatives for which I’m one. I follow Christ 1st in my life. Politics and faith aside, I recognize and appreciate great music. I am drawn to certain types of music of varying genres. Something in my brain, ears and soul picks up on sounds, tones and melodies- excuse me as I am musically ignorant. I have never played an instrument and I understand the science of music about as much as quantum physics! I am amazed and envious of those who have those type of brains. There are certain types of music that I can’t tolerate and that’s country, jazz, pop. It’s no judgement-it just sounds like noise in my ears. I just wanted to give you a perspective of someone who does not think like you politically so that you may try to understand that there are people who love the “purity” of music without judgment. I think the great modern day musicians (meaning music I’ve listened to since 60’s) are today’s geniuses = classical musicians. I wish my brain could understand how you do it, but since I can’t, I will just listen and enjoy. The Beatles have nothing on Michael Penn’s No Myth in my opinion. Thank you for the great music!

I can't stand artist arrogance or fans of artists that somehow seem to think that because they have a gift for an art medium it qualifies them for valid political logic and it's true, more true then someone out there living in society really effected by legislation. You did a GREAT job here Spencer! I'm a long time fan of Mr. Penn. I have always felt that just as a skilled blacksmith could forge an entirely unique weapon that a warrior wields into battle, Michael Penn is a wordsmith, forging beautiful and unique lyrics that step up, curl around like a cat, and take you to a place few artists are capable of building. His music has always been his own richly unique blend. I remember trying to decode the album 'Free For All' in high school, with little success. I love that album!! I did want to add, I believe you can be a conservative and still love Radiohead or, in my case, Michael Penn. I don't think the two things are mutually exclusive. I understand how people can feel different than I do politically and respect their individual views and their right to have them. I think, to be honest, we need more people respecting and listening. People never need to agree, but listening, or at least, respecting another who thinks differently, gets us(A) to a better place nationally than where we seem to be currently. I don't mean to go on and on, I just wanted to throw that out there because your neighbor is probably still a good guy regardless of who they vote for. Talk to him. Anyway, again I thought you were fantastic and I hope you keep this up!! Lastly, I have a playlist here consisting mostly of Michael Penn's rare off album songs.
