Rear rim from Kawasaki ER5 with tyre 140/80-17. Changed final gearing from 14/44 to 16/38. That is a change of 32%. Top speed 160 kmh. 140 in 4:th gear. 6:th will be overdrive. No motor tuning! Makes a lot of fun to ride now. With gearing as it should be on this model!! It's no red light rocket anyway!

No idea. But slower than original. It is like starting from the second Gear.

Exhaust is from THE Swedish store "BILTEMA" Price about 100.-€. Self made adapter to make it fit.

Nice bike, I have the exact same model, just changed the cv carbs and put some flat slides. Beautiful modifications you've got there. Cheers from Argentina.

How are the flatslides compared to the CV carbs?

@@mcperra1958 hi! the bike becomes more responsive, you get way more acceleration, in my case a slight increase in top speed too, surprisingly the fuel consumption reduced to almost half of what I've been used to with the cv's. But I understand that this is more related to the jetting and driving, I might be slightly lean. It's a hard and long way to the perfect jetting, but it's worth it.
