It’s a shame you didn’t go to the ABR, I know it’s expensive but there are ways to keep costs down, would have been great to have bumped in to you, I bet you would have seen loads of your subs there 😁👍

For someone new to the seen and maybe looking to buy one, what is goinf on here and is this common?

Dakar FI owner here. Love mine, the only problem I have with it is a fuel leak which I suspect is similar to the one you had, impossibility to find spare parts for cracked fairings(help) and that I have to replace fork seals. Other than that the bike is a tank.

Would love to know how you attached your lomo bags to the racks... Paused the vid lots of times, but couldn't quite see how you've joined the cross-weaved webbing on the back of the bag to the metal frame. I've spent the last couple of evenings making some hangers out of 2mm strip aluminium and lots of pop-rivets, but I'm sure there must be a better way!

Would you say it's worth getting a Sertao and lowering it for a shorter person to get the better suspension travel and accessories or just get an already low f650gs and modify that for more aggressive riding? I imagine the CRF300L Rally is what I actually want for local riding but probably not a good choice in a place that has 75-85mph speed limits as soon as you ride out of city limits.

It's not a big deal if it's not exactly 100psi, can be 90 or 80, has worked for me. The copycat product NoMousse recommends 80psi. There are bike pumps that can switch between hight pressure and low pressure mode, Topeak roadie 2stage for example.

Congratulations, on another successful bike show! You had some tough competition there, I'd say. That Suzuki was nice, I had the GT185 in red years ago. Never got it running and sold it before a move. Hopefully it's out there somewhere running well! Nice score on the parts, too.
