Alonzo Harding Mourning Jr. (born February 8, 1970) is an American former professional basketball player who has served as vice president of player programs & development for the Miami Heat since June 2009. Mourning played most of his 15-year National Basketball Association (NBA) career for the Heat, but was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets. Nicknamed "Zo", Mourning played the center position. Following his college basketball career at Georgetown University, his tenacity on defense twice earned him the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award & twice placed him on the NBA All-Defensive Team. Mourning made a comeback after undergoing a kidney transplant & later won the 2006 NBA championship with the Heat. Mourning also played for the New Jersey Nets. On March 30, 2009, Mourning became the first Miami Heat player to have his number retired. In 2010, Mourning was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. In August 2014, Mourning was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, & in August 2019 he was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame.
1995-96 Georgetown Hoyas Allen Iverson #3
Allen Ezail Iverson born June 7, 1975 is an American former professional basketball player. Nicknamed "the Answer", he played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) at both the shooting guard & point guard positions. Iverson won NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 1997 & was an 11-time NBA All-Star, won the All-Star game MVP award in 2001 & 2005, & was the NBA's Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2001. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. In October 2021, he was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Iverson is regarded as one of the game's greatest scorers, ball handlers, guards, & one of the most influential athletes in American sports. Iverson attended Bethel High School in Hampton, Virginia, & was a dual-sport athlete. He earned the Associated Press High School Player of the Year award in both football & basketball, & won the Division 5 AAA Virginia state championship in both sports. After high school, Iverson played college basketball with the Georgetown Hoyas for two years, where he set the school record for career scoring average (23.0 \ppg) & won the Big East Defensive Player of the Year award both years. Following two successful years at Georgetown University, Iverson declared eligibility for the 1996 NBA draft, & was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the first overall pick. He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in the 1996-97 season. A four-time scoring champion, Iverson was one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history, despite his relatively small stature (listed at 6 feet, 0 inches, or 183 centimeters). His regular season career scoring average of 26.7 points per game ranks seventh all-time, & his playoff career scoring average of 29.7 points per game trails only Michael Jordan & Luka Dončić. Iverson was also the NBA Most Valuable Player of the 2000-01 season, & led his team to the 2001 NBA Finals the same season. Iverson represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics, winning the bronze medal. Later in his career, Iverson played for the Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, & the Memphis Grizzlies, before ending his NBA career with the 76ers during the 2009-10 season. He was rated the fifth-greatest NBA shooting guard of all time by ESPN in 2008.

Timothy Theodore Duncan (born April 25, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player. He spent his entire 19-year career with the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed "the Big Fundamental", he is widely regarded as the greatest power forward of all time & one of the greatest players in NBA history, & was a central contributor to the franchise's success during the 2000s & 2010s.bHe was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020 & named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. Born & raised on Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Duncan initially aspired to be a competitive swimmer, but took up basketball at 14 after Hurricane Hugo destroyed the island's only Olympic-sized pool. In high school, he played basketball for St. Dunstan's Episcopal. In college, Duncan played for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, & in his senior year, he received the John Wooden Award & was named the Naismith College Player of the Year & the USBWA College Player of the Year. After graduating from college, Duncan was the NBA Rookie of the Year after being selected by San Antonio with the first overall pick in the 1997 NBA draft. He primarily played the power forward position & also played center throughout his career. He is a five-time NBA champion, a two-time NBA MVP, a three-time NBA Finals MVP, a 15-time NBA All-Star, & the only player to be selected to both the All-NBA & All-Defensive Teams for 13 consecutive seasons.
