2024 Eclipse Totality in Fredericksburg
We traveled to Texas for the 2024 total eclipse and saw the beginning of totality. Here's a timelapse of the event interspersed with some images from my actual camera.

Due to a mechanical incident, I had to do a quick swappero of the passenger front coilover. One of the Speed SF organizers (thanks Joe!) happened to have an old generation Annex Fastroad at the track I was able to swap out. Despite that, still hit my fastest time of the day: 1:49 Modifications to date: Annex Suspension CSP Coilovers @AnnexSuspensionGroup ... with one Fastroad on Passenger Front...

Cutting out some oracal vinyl gold 651 with a Vevor vinyl cutter. I've added the Grounds Keeper Frame Protection, and this gold really pulls the whole package together, plus it matches the Kashima!

Thanks for your comment David Hauton - It was me! The frame wasn't compatible with transmission, but was a UDH drop out - didn't realize there was an incompatibility when ordering. What do you ride?

First of all, banger track. How much did you pay for the frame and how progressive did you get with the geo? What hta and sta are we talking? Im also planning on doing a hardtail through waltly this year :)

Any issue when you need to install the bike rack onto the hitch? Is it difficult to get the hitch bolt/pin on and tightened?
I'm using a 1up that has it's tightening mechanism at the outside, so I haven't run into this problem.

Could you estimate how much net weight the tow hits adds to the car?
Since you remove the bumper and replace it with the hitch, it doesn't add any weight.
The hitch is significantly heavier than the crash bumper that gets removed - I'd estimate at least ~30 lbs added

Yup! You can see them at 0:15 during the unboxing. They're slightly longer than the stock ones and they're adjustable.

Once you removed the pin, how were you able to get the spring out? I’ve been struggling at that part
Push it with a screwdriver off the clevis perpendicular to the axis of the spring, it's wedged in there pretty tight. Hopefully you got it!
If you haven't done the installation yet, here's how I did it and found it really easy. With one hand, push the clutch pedal down. With the other hand, pull the clevis TOWARDS YOU (which pedal is pressed down). Basically you're removing the "spring action" that's keep the clevis towards the pedal. If you wanna understand the physics of why it's easier, here's a video on that.
