Interesting how I've only seen someone either liking the heist or being its biggest hater, nowhere in between. I personally like it since it can be pretty short and you can pull some ridiculous shit with this game's goofy stealth mechanics
@@burnedgrapes I’ve heard it’s better with other people but it’s a slog when solo. Guard patterns are random and you spend most of the time waiting. Got soft locked one time between a guard who refused to move and Garrett. The music it brought was alright, but it feels rushed.

Yeah I wasn't the sharpest knife on the playtest team, and face blind to boot :P I'm impressed he built a versatile enough game that there's always multiple ways to solve any of the identities!

Dont remember how I got the Tina Angelina thing. Its from Patsy while I was looking up Christensen Steel on the periodical. I think it mightve been a train of searches I was doing all the way from Brian Jones, not sure though.

I was srruggling in a similar situation. Except I knew from very very very early on that Wolf and Candy were Jim’s children. I think that was very clear once you got the Dazzlers search. I enjoyed finding out how to find the wives of some of these, as I had accidentally guessed alot of them. Like Laura, Patsy, Helen, and Katharine. Katharine was really lucky because it told me where Tessa was. And since I knew November was NOT a baby It told me where she and Kristina were. Then after that I found the snippets that told you where Patsy Laura and Helen are supposed to go 💀 Oops. So now I was stuck with my last four, Elias C’s occupation “of knowledge” and their two children’s occupations, though Candy was surely a musician. I also had Gwyneth Morden as my fourth but thats because I didn’t catch her being a farmer aswell the first time I read through the revisited Diary. Dear god did it take so long for my brain to just register that last line of Rollin’ that says Eli was an advertiser. Anyways, fun game. Not got a clue who EC is. I’ll save that for another time 😭
Also that whole cherry tree thing was just a rhyme. You were supposed to look for a name that rhymed. Though I still got it wrong because the first time I put in Patricia Jones. But it was Joan, LMAO

Thanks for uploading your playtest! I just finished playing the game myself a few minutes ago and I was using your videos as a walkthrough. Mostly just for figuring out some of the careers and for realising I mixed up "Pops" with Elias Sr in the picture of the 5pieces. I thought the picture of EC was a really weird shot of Elias C for a good 90% of the game.
Oh that's awesome my videos helped! Yeah it's a great game, I had a few characters myself I was convinced about when they weren't correct, it's really impressive how many systems the dev put in place to ensure we never get fully stuck. Thanks for watching, congrats on finishing!!!

PS2 Medic is one of my favorite classes in any game! Admittedly for very different reasons than killing, was why it took so long, but I'm already back on the battlefield rezzing corpses ^_^

@@Infernus25 It's true! You feel so powerful, bringing a whole room of dead dudes back to life and then they go capture the point :D You're a force-multiplier for the whole team, and the rez grenades let you do that when you can't even physically reach the giant pile of dead bodies. So great!

On an earlier run I had a saw and some dumbass swat ran into it and died :') had to restart the heist and decided to just play it safe and slow
