Criticizing how people praise and worship the Lord is a transgression against the Holy Spirit itself which is an unforgivable sin. The Holy Spirit has an emotional effect on people, how can one be compelled to repent without emotion. A purified heart gives joy and praise to the Lord. What is love, it is emotion. What is joy, it is an emotion. What is jealousy orthodox hypocrite? an emotion. What is pride orthodox hypocrite? an emotion. If you stripped away all the colorful churches, all the fancy candlesticks, all the fancy robes, the relics, and the ritual traditions, what do you have left that God truly values? A repentant heart full of praise and obedience.

This torrent of straightforward, unpretentious work coming through the lectures and the books is and has been such an ark, so to speak, amidst a sea of confusion within the Church, especially for a neophyte like myself whose entrée was exceedingly difficult as my first exposure was to various ecumenistic and origenistic sources, in the middle of the apocalyptic delusion of the past few years no less, when I’m just trying to find my feet spiritually. Then comes The Royal Path and through them, Fr Peter and a host of people actually following the Holy Fathers. What a breath of fresh air that was! I wouldn’t trade my rocky start, but neither would I recommend it to anyone else. Glory to God for all things! ☦️☦️☦️

I would think both would be foreign to them. One would look like a festival, the other would look like a pagan temple. Once they get to know the Christians and the doctrine they would see how the orthodox follow the letter of the law way too seriously, and the protestants give in only to the spirit of the law way too much. In the end they would prefer the one that has more love in practice, sound teaching, and God's presence. Sorry to say, but so far I've seen those three always lacking in orthodoxy. And I don't think they would take lightly to the worship of Mary and the saints or the twisted theology on salvation. Which isn't to defend protestantism, oh no... We all know the theological extremes in which some denominations have gone to, even unto heresy. I'm sure they would love the music of orthodoxy first, because it's probably more culturally close to their own times, but as they get more familiar with the modern world, I'd think they would prefer modern worship music. This is a really nice mental exercise. :)
