Where you able to make it through tech inspection pretty easily where there any key things you had to do to the car? Do you run a blow down tube on your nitrous bottle? Just curious as I have a similar build and am nervous about tech inspection

Just coming in, hella late to see I love this--my 5spd 3v is my first car, and I've owned it for 7 years, 3rd owner at nearly 200k miles, and this thing is just a trooper, I'm looking to do the same. Overtime doing some suspension work and going for FBO and lito tuned. A stroked out, cammed 3v with some high flowing heads and screaming to 7500rpm just sounds like more fun than any coyote build and just want it to be a fun pro-touring circuit toy.

I’ve got nearly the identical setup except I have Howard rattler cams , gt500 twin 60mm throttle body and a zex nozzle kit. Everything else is the same 4.10’s ford racing manifold jlt cai, steeda underdrives, same shifter but stock drive shaft. I’m trying to run 10’s. So far I’ve ran an 11.26 on a 125 shot. And on a 150 shot I can run side by side with a fbo e85 10r80 car. I got a 19 gt pp1 10 speed almost two years ago and kinda pushed the 3v to the side but I just got it back out the other day. Ima continue my quest for the 10 second pass.

The 3v wins on style points and sounds great. I like the ws6 style second. Then the vett and the 2014 stang last on style. Looks like a damn bmw.

We all know the 5.0 Coyote is stronger than my beautiful sounding 3 valve 4.6, but Christian can drive like a MF and made the 4.6 a serious threat without the NOS. Just damn good driving won here.

Doing a burn out on all seasons or street tires is pointless. They become less grippy with heat. Should just bark them next time and run it. Good runs tho from both of you. Not being negative just in putting my 2 cents from experience

What wheels and tires are you running? They look sick.

Im just getting started on my 08. I had to replace the clutch and ordered a heavy flywheel by mistake. Do u think a light weight flywheel and twin disc clutc would be the best way to start my fbo process. Ive been told it frees up decent power

The 3V looks and sounds the best. The 05-09 body style is the best looking modern Mustang. They have never had the same kind of appeal since.
