Pirates of Penzance - Poor Wandering One
These days with a set of false teeth I think somewhere they would fly out, I loved doing this song when I had me own teeth.
Me when I hear little cousins turned on my Xbox
Well, we're fucked.
Angry Anna PTSD

Linda put Disney Princesses to shame.
Modern Major General invented the rap game
Had to be me. Someone else would've gotten it wrong
Die kann nix! Die hat keine klassische Gesangsausbildung! That's Shit!
When I was younger this scared the crap outta me. Now I'm laughing
Fluttershy: take it away fellas
Nobody can do the Major General like George Rose. I found out the saddest thing about him yesterday. He was gay and had no real partner or heir but really wanted one. So he eventually adopted a 14 year old boy in the Dominican Republic and he was going to leave everything to him. He wanted to help this young man grow up to be prosperous and teach him all about music and such. Several years later in 1988 the adopted boy, along with his biological father and a couple of other men tortured George Rose for 8 hours and then bludgeoned him to death. They tried to make it look like a car accident and although they eventually confessed, they were never given a trial and the adopted son was released from jail and did end up receiving part of that inheritance! George Rose’s body was dumped in an unmarked grave in some trash covered cemetery in the Dominican Republic. He was so talented, kind and intelligent. The man did not deserve such a brutal and tragic end
My god… what hideous creatures those beings really are. I cannot believe they got away with it. What sinister monsters. Should be sentenced to the gallos. My god I can’t believe that, that’s made me shed a tear.
Like if this traumatized you as a kid
But how do you sing like that with a ribbon tied with a bow that compresses the vocal cords and glottis? Could someone explain it to me?
You start by being Linda Ronstadt.
@@docostler Agree, but Linda Ronstadt is not a robot but he is a person. No one can sing like that with a bandaged throat from a ribbon.
Simply outstanding!!!!!!!!
I wonder how amazing a duet between Linda Ronstadt and Freddie Mercury would have been 😮
pirates of penzance the movie in theatres december 1981
Shrek when someone goes into his swamp😂😂😂😂😂😂
Been so long and it still has me rolling 😂😂😂😂😂
Fluttershy: I told you to stay out of my shed, but you didn’t listen to me
I laughed at Fluttershy’s face when she said WHAT DID I TELL Y’ALL ABOUT COMING IN MY SHED?!!!!!!
Remember kids stay out of Fluttershy’s shed
Let’s get out of here
So who are you?
Linda took my 💜 long ago. This really shows what a great singer she is.
El detalle al viento en la ropa y en el cabello a pesar de ser un set es hermoso.
HeY hEy Hey WhAt Did i teLl ya about coming in my Shed!?
to this day I still struggle to remember all the words to this song BUT I WILL GET IT RIGHT ONE OF THESE DAYS!!!
I believe in you! You, too, can become - one day - the very model of a modern major-general 😉
They cut out the middle verse, which is by far the hardest. It's full of references hardly anyone would get these days. Yeah, I used to have the whole song memorized. Not sure I could still sing it today.
Every rapper is gangsta, till a modern major general appears
Wow. Fievel brought me here. She is an amazing singer.
Well we’re fucked :/
Mr Plow is a loser and I think that he’s a boozer.
3:18 Pirate: "Encore! Can you do it one more time?" General: "Certainly!" Pirate: "And can you do it REALLY fast?" General: [Initiating Rap God Mode]
I used to love to sing this as a teenager. When I first discovered G&S.
Watch at 30 seconds into the song, to the right upper corner, A pigeon flying in the studio hits the wall and falls flat!!
@zaneblast5289: You are mistaken and an idiot to post that no one under the age of 70 in 1980 cared about operetta. People born in 1910 would have had plenty of opportunity to know and enjoy operetta, especially Gilbert and Sullivan.
Welp we’re fuked
Lol turn on cc
great version
I’m just coming down from a workout and for some reason I decided it needed to listen to this as I start cooling down.
Brava Linda!!! She's brilliant!! Brava Linda!!!
My wife and I saw Linda in the Broadway performance of "Pirates". No doubt, everyone thought she was making a mistake in doing this...but obviously they had never seen her live rock performances. She did a great performance. Always pitch perfect among several musical genres.. A rare talent, the likes of which will not be seen again in a long while.
u have just heard the greatest female voice ever recourded tell me who even close if u can
Spike: welp we’re fucked
Just love thats this came up outta no where an am doing the operetta for my school😭
This is from the musical (it was called light opera back then) Pirates of Penzance written by Gilbert & Sullivan, I think sometime between 1880 and 1900. the operetta's of Gilbert & Sullivan are a rich source of musicals for High Schools. Well worth looking into.
where is this one???:)
That was really good , but it wasn't Spanish. No me recuerdes Estoy metido en mis propios pedos No me busques más me vale estar solo que metido en esto... I dunno
He’s got a sick flow that’s for sure
When she belts “take heart fair days will shine” I turn into a puddle. Her voice is unbelievable!
