I had one of these as a kid! Got it from a Christmas event in a warplane museum. But that was overthrown being a Guitar Hero III legend in middle school.

I remember seeing this at Barnes and Nobles in like 2007(?) it was something like $20 or $30, and my mom said I couldn’t have it. (Before watching beyond the first few seconds, I feel like my mom probably made a good call not wasting money on it.)

Your criticisms are strange. Like.. who on earth used the auto calibration on RB2 guitars? It wasn't a camera just an IR sensor i believe. It was never accurate for me or my friends. We always had to test calibrations for every new TV we played on and we wrote the perfect numbers down so we could change it.

best strat for this game, sprint jump ontop of the cars when zombies chase you. that's how i beat the game lol, was too hard constantly running out of stamina when getting chased by 5+ zombies

Absolutely agree about fish mode. I adore this game, overall, but this mode especially. Still hope, that Sony'll make PS3 emulation for PS5, then me and my friend can fight for that fish bucket access again. Now I can play it with streaming gaming, but input latency is critical with that type of game (especially because I streaming with my USA account, by being located in Ukraine). Thanks for the vid!

Well I actually did my research before buying and got the Xbox version to use on PC and I honestly don’t have any complaints. The guitar is a lot quieter and you don’t hear that annoying clicking like on a usual guitar hero guitar. Yeah your fingerprints are gonna show up but I’m not gonna cry about it lmao. If it bothers you that much you can always get a cheap cover for it. I got it for $130 on Amazon so it’s not bad at that price for the quality you get.

I'd delved into the demo scene back in the '90s. One of the key things about it was the insane amount of code optimization -- they could make an incredible fly-through with rendered textures, music, lighting, and have it all crammed into something that could fit on a floppy disk. As in, MAYBE one megabyte. There was a game written in the early 2000s called .kkrieger (the dot is part of the name) that was a playable first-person shooter, with rendered weapons and enemies and environments, with sound effects and lighting... but the entire file was only 96k.

I have a wii guitar and my riffmaster just came in. The wii guitar feels a lot better but i do like how much quieter the riffmaster is.

Hey man, enjoyed the video! I actually had the game a while ago on my PS3. From what I know people just used the game to get an easy platinum trophy (I mean, it's 3 dollars). I honestly played that game once, got freaked out by the visuals, and never played it again. Was an interesting experience tho

For casual players maybe it’s fine but as an experienced player any Arduino guitar is the way to go. Building them is cheap and even buying them from Etsy is more affordable than the Riffmaster.
