I'm actually working on my first post apocalypse weapon it's a completely diy "home Depot" shotgun pretty much low maintenance,easily replaceable and I would need vary little tools to fix it up

I used your helmet video to inspire my own much lighter than my real helmet build and now you have helped me figure a quite simple way to to make a quick adjust sling that I will probably bring to at least 2 of my airsoft pews… 😂 Thank you for your content!

Hello! I have a question, maybe you might want to feature it in one of your videos I live in west germany and have a lot of trouble finding Post Apoc Larp events in my area. Most Events I found are hours away and mostly east of germany So I wanted to ask if you have any tips on how to find Larp events especially post apoc ones that are harder to find. Are there any places you recommend? I searched for events on Facebook and CZcams but with little luck so far, at least finding one that i near my area As always thanks for your videos, its really inspiring and they help me with my costume :)

Just came here to say, I absolutely love and respect these videos to show people how to make these cool things, I do larp, and these kind of cosplay bits cost SO much money online and are out of most of peoples price range, and I’ve struggled to find tutorials on how to make these things myself until I stumbled upon this channel, it’s so nice to see someone sharing knowledge so people can try and be creative and have a go at making costume themselves!

That’s awesome dude I’ve been looking for something smaller than my helmet for when I want to something more lightweight, and think I’m going to have a go at making something similar! How does the fogging unit attach to the helmet? Is it just the one bit of fabric and bolt above it between the hoses?

I come from the Midwest of the United States where you can spit in any direction and someone has a camo something. Even I hunt. So I find this video very useful as I’m doing a good amount of camo. Gives me lots of ideas! Thank you so much!

I will add my two cents to the topic of how quickly rust appears on weapons. And it is related to the quality of the weapon's finish. Namely, I have a Bulgarian AK that could rust before my eyes. All it took was a bit of moisture, a short rain, whatever - the entire weapon, apart from the plastic and aluminum parts, was red. In the post-apocalyptic world, I probably wouldn't have a chance to effectively remove this rust. However, even the best finish will eventually begin to fade from the gun with use.

I used an old army jacket and joggers in camo print that ended up getting so torn up after paintball and hunting and cleaning the after hunt that honestly it’s making it out to be a great upcycle to use it in my first wastelander outfit. Have redyed both with tans before throwing it into the dirt and dust some more and it took pretty well on both. Although I am making a large patch on the back that says “northern hunteress” with a deer skull using my embroidery machine. The camo is kinda seen but unless you’re really looking at it you can’t see it under the redye job Love the video btw!

Both ammunition and gasoline are fairly easily produced. A decent mechanic can make old cars run off alcohol. Tires would be impossible to produce. The benefit of bows and x-bows is quiet. Slings are both more destructive and longer range than man portable bows, but highly skilled.

I run a fast helmet nice big goggles and a balaclava with a piece of mesh sown on just big enough to protect my teeth

Hey hey, I aim with my ass but still wear gloves (to protect my hands from the ground when I am on all fours aiming). No need to throw shade.

Nice. I use a pair of Noctua 40mm in my airsoft de-fog solution as well. They are mounted on the front of a BUMP/FAST helmet to get air flow to a Dye i5. I used to have a pair of cheaper fans. You can definitely tell a difference in terms of sound. And possibly strength. I have cheapo computer fan plastic shrouds to "protect" the fans but they break away upon impact exposing the fans. The old pair lasted a few years but ended up with complete blades blown out making them even louder and less effective. The shrouds for the Noctuas are beginning to get shot out, and I suspect they can indeed (possibly) take a direct (but further away) miracle shot and not break. The plastic they use is high quality. Been running them for like a year and blades still intact and system still quite. Also I have found, like you, fans blowing in seems to work best and is quieter. They also do not irritate my eyes. But to be fair, my airflow is not as direct as yours. Mine just dumps the air in the front of the helmet to move any stagnant air away from the vents on the top of the Dye i5. Cool set up! I bet you get a lot of comments and questions at games.

i would not recommend those meshed masks. it just takes a single bad quality BB to shatter and find its way through. yes, you can easily breathe through, but i have safety concerns about it and heard too many stories.

you can have a metal ring on top of the helmet under the hat, and slip a rope on the circlet, and lace it thru the plastic slots and make a chinstrap. this can also serve as the base of a skeleton frame

i used to paint ball war with a guy named carpet bob, he wore Neon bright orange pants and was the hardest guy to see out in the wild. the helm is awesome. Its always more rad to use something you built opposed to buying. Also i noticed you have sewn a bit is that new? i always thought you like the bolt,nut and washer method :)) just messing with ya i always love the tiny details you add i notice them. "Accidentely looks post apocalyptic" 😄 i dont think i have seen any other kind of work by you😋 Like it. I just bought the new begadi glasses with the wide face shield that works good for me. But the defogging might be a nice addon. A look inside the box would have been nixe. I tried something like this with an pc fan inside of an old sovjet gasmaskfilter. But somehow that thing hasnt pushed any air through the hose. At least nothing i can noticed.

Interesting Velcro detatchable solution ! And your ventilation is great. I play airsoft all the time and made my own helmets and outfit in PA style, so I made ventilation too with fans that I salvaged from portable computers in the trash. Works well but a bit noisy sometimes. Good job, and thanks for sharing as always

I've taken balls to the face before so I don't need one. What kind of mesh is that though? I could use that for a lot of other projects.

I don't even have a motorised PA vehicle yet but I know I want something like this on my head while driving it.
