The new bikes come with an 88 main and a 92 main as spares/swap outs; the bike had a 90 main in it when we got it. We're at relatively low elevation where we live, but when we run at Tomahawk I'm WV which is right about 600 ft, the 90 tends to do just fine. If we run at a track any higher, I usually swap out for the 88.

Yes, exact same amount. Calls for .21 quart, or roughly 210 ml. Also, there is a guy on ebay who prints and sells the service manual for the 2024; that's how I got mine. They should have given it to you in .pdf format, or at least an access link, when you got the bike though.

Yeah I'm from Belgium and it was the first in the country few months ago so our dealer didnt know much more at the time. Thanks for the help. How Clicks are you guys riding the clutch? My boy has done 2hours on it indoor, some playriding on 12 clicks out.

Thank you! As for your question, I need to look into the base model 2024 KTM 50sx(and by association, the Husky 50)a little bit more. From what I understand, there are differences between the FE and base model, I'm just not sure precisely what they are yet, tbh. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! I may go to my local dealer here before long, and see if they object to me taking some video in their showroom highlighting the new base model 2024 KTM 50sx 🤣

No sir. Same seat, different cover. And it might sit a *TINY* bit higher after the BBR suspension stuff, but I'd expect it to be negligible at best.

I don't believe it's absolutely necessary, unless switching carbs. If you're referring to the taller bars; alot of times you can invert the throttle assembly and it gives you the slack necessary to run the new bars.

Sounds like you have the right idea already! Just GET OUT THERE and have fun, mainly! The beginner 65 class, if the structure stays the same, is 7-9; so you son should have a ball with that. And next year, or this year if he's ready, he can race the 65 7-11 class as well! As for the 30 and 40 plus novice classes; they're a riot! I ran a few races last year before I got hurt(lol), but still have quite a few buddies racing in those classes for 2024, so regardless we look forward to catching you out there!

Yep 99% of the time on about anything especially exhaust side they get tight and not loose. To tight the valves want seal completely and ya get hard starts. To loose isn’t good either but they will still start fine A good rule is when your measuring for your shims and can’t hit the middle. Aim towards the looser end. That way it will be longer before they get into to tight territory. I try and just get spot on. Also hotcam shins are never exact so measure your shims with a caliper and use oem shims as often as possible. And Honda shins are cheaper and they are all the same

@@ESEPowersports mine does have a problem with valve, its hard to start if i dont use it for 2 days i need 2 hill drop for start it

Actually, the Tacoma tows it great! It's only 3500 pounds dry, so the low weight helps a bunch.

Fairly positive I went with a 2004 CRF150F carb, if that helps - and aside from having to adjust the needle clip position to its highest setting to fix a small bogging issue, she's been golden! Still my favorite little bike to play around on lol

what’s the highest position for the needle clip?do i put the clip on the needle in the top slot or the bottom slot on the needle

Honestly? Hasn't fared well. These carbs are apparently susceptible to hydrolocking; this bike wasn't any different. Threw a cheap carb on there and it did alot better, but still stopped running before long. These things are temperamental from what it seems lol
