good god in just another few years and even the remaster will be a decade old

I'm nearing 40 and this is still my favourite piece of music. The way it builds up from a light pattering of raindrops on a tin roof into a wave and then just starts rolling into itself at 4:08 is beautiful. Fits the water/tide theme of FFX perfectly. I'm not sure that any other instrument could do this piece justice.

i absolutely love how Matsueda and Eguchi arranged this. the jazzy-ness really accentuates Yuna's state of mind imo. it's like she's pondering her grief and thoughts while also trying to hold on to hope and learning to move on. beautifully done!

I love this piece

Been 20 years since X-2 came out now. Time flies. X-2 was a flawed game but one that was still solid and is nostalgic for me. Listening to this music and thinking about this game makes me remember a time where life was more innocent and I was more patient and able to take a lot of pleasure in little things and enjoy being in the moment.
