One can argue that as large as the pixels were on the Atari 2600, composite over RF was adequate. One thing I remember about the Atari 2600, it did not include equalization or serration pulses in the signal.

Sorry, to be so late to the party. This series of Power PC Macintosh desktop computers, were the Apple computer models that first impressed me. Especially the version, that also supported a full PC card and could run both Mac OS and Windows. My first mac was an All-in-One 5400. Today, In my collection as a replacement for this system is an All-in-One 5500 (looks the same as a 5400) and has my Apple video capture card system and an Apple TV/FM radio card system, with its matching black remote control. One of the reasons, I stared with Apple computers for my home was because they made (or branded) the CPU, monitor, printer, scanner, digital camera, and software. Plus back in the 1990's, each computer system came with free Lifetime (800) telephone number support (smile ... smile).

I'm from the Future. ;) I have the A630 Rev.3 with 68030/50 MHz, and an FPU 68882FN40/40 MHz, with 64 MB RAM. Yes, the A600 is still AWESOME.

I wonder if the Y cable with power switch that MiSTer add-ons provide also causes a voltage drop. I've got almost no issues but my Wi-Fi connection isn't very reliable nor fast and it should, also BT dissconnects. With the Tap to project, the SSD, Wi-Fi and BT MiSTer now needs a lot more power and I've been looking for a reliable PSU with 5 amps or so

Hello, indeed, the Amiga are always impressive, everything is in a keyboard and the OS, I have the mini and winuae, the Amiga is the machine of my dreams, much more than PCs these days, all the games are online, Steam, yes, a good platform, online store yes, until the day everything is pirated. But the PC has never and will never have the charm of the Amiga, Windows and so classic that we could run Windows 24 and we wouldn't see the difference.

It really is. Always was a 1200 guy, but getting a 600 recently and just having it as a little games only machine is perfect.

Hey Todd - I got myself one a couple of years ago but the psu seems to be dead or not properly working. I am gonna get an alternate solution with a Voltcraft multi PSU - what voltage should be the setting on that one for using the XRGB2? I read that 12V where sufficient.

So in 1995, we had a classroom with LC II/III/475/520/575, Centris 650, PM 6100 60 AV/5200 machines. My teacher had a Centris 650 with a massive 21” CRT monitor with video BNC cables. Now that 650 was eventually replaced with a UMAX StarMax clone. It was amazing!!!

I bought this controller this time, but I'm embarrassed because it doesn't support x-input. They say you can change the X input by emulating it with a program. Is it a bug or does not apply.

i had an a600 with built in kickstart rom switcher with 2.0 and 1.3 and you would hold down reset to change it, that sorted out most of the compatibility problems i'm surprised the games that need the numeric keypad haven't been hacked to use other keys, with all the whdload installers with added bug fixes, trainers and ability to skip intros etc. that people have done

Did you play yourself or was this just the in game demo? I have just installed more ram on my Amiga 1200, but the ADoom is lacking extremely much everytime I play it myself, even with an 8 mb ram expansion. Does it work for you?

We just got a couple of these and their Pro Tech Toolkit at work...they're actually very nice little kits. I'm sure I'll end up with one for myself.

When I worked for Radio Shack, I had a set of external speakers hooked up to one of these on the Tandy Sensation, and it actually sounded pretty good that way. I've always wanted a set, but they're starting to get somewhat rare in good condition.
