This is the complete performance from Live Aid on July 13, 1985 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. This was not included in the official DVD release due to the band's objection to the quality of their performance. For many fans, seeing the surviving members of Led Zeppelin perform together after the untimely passing of their drummer, was nothing short of a dream come true. Originally uploaded as i...

Not my best work. Thanks to the original poster of this vid. The audio has been upgraded to stereo & punched up a little. The Who had difficulty that night using borrowed amps & couldn't quite get their trademark sound to come through, resulting in a tinny-sounding set. Notice Keith having his snare drum restored after the song was finished.

A Russ Ballard-penned tune. The audio was replaced. Best viewed in HQ with headphones on or really good speakers..

Great performance from the "Rockshow" concert film. Thanks to JimmyMcCullochFan for suggesting this one. Re-proportioned this video for 1.85:1 ratio, & toned down the colors a bit. Linda's keyboards are audible on this audio mix, but excludes the "Cheers" salute at the end.

Great performance from the "Rockshow" concert film. Thanks to JimmyMcCullochFan for suggesting this one. Re-proportioned the video for 1.33:1 ratio, slight adjustment to brightness/contrast, replaced the audio (but has some dropouts). At least the audio is complete - Jimmy's chops are clearer on this, & you can hear Paul salute & say "Cheers" at the end.

From Daltrey's Solo album released in 1975, this Russ Ballard tune was one of three recorded for this collection. The audio has been upgraded & the colors have been toned down so everyone's face isn't orange. For best results, watch in HQ & listen with headphones on (or through really good speakers!)

The Loudest Band in the World sing bout what makes a man a man. Inserted the audio from "View From a Backstage Pass" & toned down the colors just a bit. For best results, watch in HQ with headphones on (or really good speakers!)

Led Zeppelin's infamous return to the stage in Philadelphia's JFK Stadium in July 1985 to support Bob Geldof's international "Live Aid" event to bring relief to the Ethiopian famine. Introduced by Phil Collins, the band takes to the stage with Tony Thompson on drums & Collins tagging along. Part 3: The Led Zeppelin reunion takes flight on the Stairway, & carries with them 90,000 along for the r...

This is Part 2: Led Zeppelin at Live Aid Continues... Any requests? Whatta Whole Lotta Love!! This clip has been cleaned up: the green hues from the 20 yr old tape has been removed, the brightness & contrast have been balanced out. The audio has been synchronized to the FM broadcast captured on an old cassette tape. That audio was pretty messed up & had lots of dropouts, hopefully the results a...

Found this while lurking WHO-related links. The picture was a bit squashed so I re-proportioned it. The audio was atrocious, so I re-synced it using the track found on the "Then & Now" compilation. Notice how the stereo mix is similar in style to how Beatles' stereo LPs were being done at the time, with voices coming out of one speaker & the backing track coming out of the other. The question i...

This is to show the performance in the proper dimensions. I punched up the music & re-balanced the contrast, but the original file was very pixelated.

Raw and Rock on!
Rare to see Jimmy sing...
Robert brakes tambourine 7:20
El compas de Colins totalmente a destiempo. Que desastre. Lo que tiene no ensayar....
Jimmy's playing is pretty sloppy in my opinion. Robert sounds fine.
Phil ruined whole lotta love with that amateur drumming
How was jason not here with them playing
Even in zeps prime they did stairway horrible live much less here and cant stand phil at all
Unfortunately the philly curse still hit zep besides lame phil collins
Here’s a better one
OMG shame on your criticism. This was for hungry relief to fight world poverty. N you all are nasty rotten comments. General public is nasty.
No ofendo ningún tipo de música pero ooo escuchen algo de música para algunos atrevidos gracias edición gracias son buenísimos gracias saludos

존나 약에 취한 상태에서 저래 치는게 용하다 진짜.
Suena bastante bien. Criticar es fácil.
I can tell here that Robert didn't have his highest notes during Stairway. He played it safe but heck,it was 15 years older vocal cords he was using. Jimmy still did great and I don't believe he was high. You can't play a good gig high, believe me. That look like 80s John Paul Jones on the keyboard too.Didn't see him enough though.
Back when HarleyDavidson bikes driped oil like like a Fawcett and run on 6 cylinder points and condenser.
Jaimito estaba scabiocaster. 😁😁😁
Give credit where credit is due. Great vocals. Great guitar. Great songwriting. A one time classic along with Beetles.
Это надо было видеть живьём.
It wasn't thaaaat bad, actually they sound more fine than regular
They looked so washed, yet in the context of time, its not that far past their prime
The years haven't been kind to Robert, lifestyle maybe !!??

LOS CAMAROGRAFOS VERDADEROS INUTILES
That version has been edited heavily to save the various names of people included in that performance. I remember watching it live and it was truly shit. Nevermind. Those that witness history can always speak the truth, despite what the winners want us to say, or think.
Legend has it: The Who and Jimi Hendrix were the last two performers that day. Townsend was pissed because he wanted The Who to be the last, band of the day, not Hendrix. After their famous smashing of their equipment at the end of their set, while heading back to their dressing room, Townsend shouted at Hendrix, who was heading on stage, "FOLLOW THAT!!!"
Wtf who's on drums
Not good. Sorry.

8:28 Jimmy wasn't done wrapping up the solo before Percy cut in
Led Zeppelin is like pizza: even when they're bad, they're still pretty good.
Announcer says "I won't reveal the setlist." Proceeds to reveal setlist and talk over drum intro.
A little bit concerned by Jimmy, but fortunately hi's still alive (2024)? Still gooseflash after almost 40 years! Thanks lads!
Dang! I was 25!
1:21 Robert is laughing at Jimmy hahaha
Jimmy’s worst solo is still better than most people’s best solo
I blame Phil Collins 😂
No se escucha nada esa guitarra en el minuto 10!!!
John really looks like Phil Collins
I REMEMBER THIS SUPPOSES TO BE A REUNION! IT WAS SUCK! LOOKING BACK AT IT? STILL SUCK!!!
Can you even imagine what it must feel like to stand in front of a crowd that size when the only reason they are there is to experience you!? They could still do that even today.
