just came into my feed, a year late lol. Swansea boy here, now living in Brunei after leaving the UK in 2010. I have to ask....What have they done to my town?! I barely recognized it. It has changed since my last visit in 2017. Why is County Hall looking derelict? What happened to Alexandra House? WTF is that wibbly-wobbly tunnel building crossing the mumbles road?? Did they demolish the old, VERY OLD, bus garage at Clarence Terrace: I thought that was a listed industrial building? Why does the BT Tower...now look exactly as it did in 1975?! Where are the bendy-buses?! Nice drone footage, thanks for sharing.

I went to that caravan park next to the clifts in 72, 73 and 74. Fab beach, but I discovered Fuerteventura. Would go back but it peed of rain for 12 days the last I was there.

Like the music. Lovely video. My mother’s birthplace 1916. Emigrated to US 1923 with my grandparents. She was born on Kenmure Place. Attended English Martyrs.

Fantastic views. Great capture of those shy seals. Although not so shy. The other day me and my mate were snorkelling around Shag Islands in Rockingham WA and this seal came up from behind and then settled on the beach. It later caught up with us again and was 'showing off' (dancing) around us, so to keep the seal entertained we also replicated its moves in the water. Was a unique experience. But these ones look uninterested, perhaps adults while I think ours was juvenile.

Absolutely love the place. Been taking our caravan down to that site nearly every year for 47 years. Amazing area.

I lived in Portishead fifty years ago. It was an attractive large village then witha lot of Bath stone old houses. We lived up the hill between the main street and the sea. Thank you for the update.

This was NOT a 'town centre panorama'. It shows simply the north end of the Esplanade - then several uninspiring minutes of estuary mud. I was hoping to see my flats at Atlanta Key - but the camera just managed to miss them! Humpf.😠
