I have a request if you take them here, a mini spaceship like the DS9 episode they shrunk the runabout or like that mini saucer in the attic from twilight zone. I always figured a floating/flying warforged with a self-sustaining crew aboard, but could scan with search, fire energy weapons with elderich blast, fireball for torpedo, mage hand for tractorbeam, etc. Minus the being able to wield weapons/armor/shields...it would instead use other means for shielding.

If I ever have to fight a terrasque I am finding a way to mind devour it. Wish or controlling a devourer or something. Pilot it like a gundam.

Little known fact about Persistent Rage, it doesn’t actually make your rage unlimited. Many players forget that rage has an effect where if you don’t take or deal damage for one turn your rage ends early. Persistent Rage just gets rid of that caveat so your rage last for the minute no strings attached. It doesn’t extend the duration of your rage. It just stops it from ending early.

Blade, man...I can't watch these movies (way too graphic), but I don't mind the character. Hey, here's a suggestion for a build: the panicky blond guy from Demon Slayer (I can never remember his name). I would guess he'd get at least one level in Barbarian, because I figure you could explain his "panic so hard he suddenly gets really powerful" as going into Rage.

(Assuming you play BG3) Cause some of these builds I would love to try to replicate in BG3 but the character creator in that game doesn't allow you to match these builds 1:1 due to some choices not existing in the game

Samurai or Basseterre, you can make a case for either one besides champion, but those are definitely the top three archetypes of blade as a fighter fighter the other thing I was going to say was gloom stalker stalker stalker would be a good choice for a ranger for him

Choosing not to use Blood Hunter because of it not being allowed at some tables? Blade as a Dhampir Blood Hunter with at least 2 Fighter levels for Action Surge makes a lot of sense to me. You can flavour Order of the Ghost Slayer to focus on vampire slaying

😂 I love the ice skating quote! That has always been one of my top 10 cheesy lines in an action movie. If you want to make a real Damphir / Vampire Hunter you should try to build D. (Vampire Hunter D) That build will be a bit more challenging and have more depth.

This is a great meat-and-potatoes translation. I like the emphasis on criticals -- that visualizes nicely as turning enemies to ashe, which is still one of my favorite special effects ever.

What's fun is I am playing a Vampire-Hunter Vampire (reflavored Dhampir) Paladin in Curse of Strahd. He's based on the Dark Knight class from Final Fantasy XIV. So will be Vengeance Paladin + Echo Knight Fighter (with a little Celestial Warlock for role-play reasons). Sadly, his Echo won't come online until end of the campaign, but it will be fun.

Nice build. Personally, I think I would have chosen Gloomstalker for Blade since he mostly fights vampires at night and in the shadows.

I am about the run a campaign for some players. I played in a game with them they are all very new to DND. Even the DM was a brand new DM. He ran a pre-written adventure completely incapable of thinking outside of the book. So im very excited to have them go the Casino my Space Clown is running. The Casino is called The Main Encounter with Baddie Boss, his number 2 and 3, and their 7 goons. I wanted to use a Space Clown to encourage my players to looking into owning a Space Jammer without me telling them they should do that.

For berserker, we just make it cost HP to frenzy and call it good lol. Thought about lowering your AC for the round also/instead, but havent play tested that idea yet.

Now I'm curious how you would do a build around reapers from Black Butler, like Undertaker or Grell. Actually any Black Butler character would be neat to see you do.
