The first time I did this dungeon I was high af. Needless to say I was extremely confused.

I've got hardcore ADHD so I get lost in dungeons constantly, so I habitually throw the multicolored glowing stones on random things to remind myself where I've been. I knew every time I hit a new layer because my stones would be gone. I still asked myself if it was more likely they made a repeating dungeon or if the stones were just bugging out.

I hate it, but I gotta respect it because this dungeon ate me up 😭😭😭

I didn't know this was a trick dungeon till I saw the videos of people getting tricked. Lol

There is also the one with the chests, feels endless the first time

As someone who’s only just getting into hardcore games, the mechanics and how to get items is a bit lost outside basic movement but i’m starting so see how this works. Thank you!! Earned a sub for sure and i’ll be going through ur vids

I loved this dungeon honestly. It didn't trick me tho, I got to the second half and immediately realised I was in the wrong place because the geography immediately didn't make any sense, so I thought "hang on, let's go back to the entrance from here" and bam, I did it

I’ve guarded against Radahn’s meteor attack before with minimal damage. Unless you mean just letting yourself take the full brunt of the force.

I learned that jumping was just as good as dodging in the fight against the evergaol Crucible Knight. His little ground stomp was perfectly dodgeable with a small hop.

What worked for me really well with the furnace golems jump attack is summoning your horse when he's up in the air. The invincibility frames work well.

This one was my second favorite dungeon. Hands down the best one was the transport chest one. Realizing it was 2 different dungeons you keep swapping between was awesome

Amazing video. Didn’t know you could jump so much! I do LOVE strafing though. So many people don’t use it

I feel like they added jumping to throw of the OG players from Dark Souls and Bloodborne haha, but especially in the DLC they have designed it so you have to use all the mechanics including "Parry". It's truly incredible how much thought they put into this game.

Why roll or jump when you can casually walk around the side of the enemy as he attacks, then hit him in the back with a combo?

That they used the Penrose Steps physical trick, when there are many alternatives that are just coding trickeration to cause a looping variant of the dungeon is fantastic. I am not the type that "enjoys" the process of level design (I prefer coding) in most cases, so I suppose them doing it this way is a reminder of how powerful meticulous level design can be.

Ngl, I thought it was like bloodbornes dudes absorbing your souls thing. Since they only time I saw it I was going to get my runes from when I died to a big dude and he had gold eyes. In short I died again and was doomed to misunderstand this mechanic lol

I use Moghwyn spear and stone shield. Not because I like playing safe, but because I'm allowed to be ultra aggressive without thinking about the consequences of my actions. Also I like screaming *NIHIL!* at groups of enemies.

Oh I thought my game was glitched. Now I know why they wouldn't move

This video looks like it's going to be a documentary about me & why I can never finish a Souls playthrough. I'm trying to 100% the game as best as I can as I play through each area aside from stuff that needs to or should be done later in the game. I get the feeling I'm about to yell "FUCK!" over giving D's brother his armor last night.

I got lucky and found the door immediately to the real boss, and never experienced this awsome loop

I just did this dungeon. I didnt even realize this dungeon was repeating. I ran past most enemies so maybe that was why.

If you take a 50% chance twice, that chance becomes 75%. If you take a 20% chance 5 times, it's 67%. A 1% chance 100 times is 63%.

1:00 rofl. I just did my first play through and I've been skipping into places I shouldn't be until a week later. I had thought the gate closed was just part of the game telling you to find a secret way, like most of the content in this game. I learned far to late, that many times, that's actually not the case and that you went too far too quickly. Although, the fact they left the latter, the back door and the dialog, means they purposely wanted you to figure it out, which is another thing.
