I've seen many youtube short videos where they restored wacthes like this with a brush and some cleaning liquid. Shiny end result. I think there is much more work to it and I'm very interested in a real restoration journey like this. Thanks Kalle.

Ik ken GS niet lang (vanaf de snowflake) en in mijn youtube onderzoek is iedereen, maar dan ook iedereen lovend over GS. Patek (slechte vergelijking i know) kwaliteit voor een zachtere prijs. Maar aan jouw filmpje te zien is GS dus echt wel heel erg netjes in elkaar gezet? Niet alleen maar hype. Ben benieuwd naar jouw mening als (Nederlandse) horloge youtuber.

The rust formula was invented to treat Kalle’s Rover but it has now come in handy to de rust the Rolex 1530 Mooovement. At least the cow knew how to pass time

Thanks for sharing this journey with us. The hair spring looks so intact; there's even some bluing! 🙂 The condition of the shellac for the pallet and roller jewels really has me curious. Is the spring holding the rotor's weight made of stainless steel or something similar?
