Well done video. I agree that the term same-sex attracted can be limiting and clinical sounding. I prefer the term gay. Queer is a slur to to me. I am not into the alphabet soup thing since some of those letters represent an experience/life completely different than being a gay man.

If I hadn't had religious concerns I probably would have fully embraced it by the time I was13 or 14. I spent an entire night tossing and turning because of something that happened at a friend's house which made me realize how attracted I was to him but also that I had fallen in love. I could not accept this from a religious standpoint so I held onto dumb rationalizations and denial for 6 years, until an amazing tv show made me realize how not evil my feelings were and by then the religious phase was dwindling so that's whn I fully accepted it, but it took a little while longer to go from bi to actually gay, thta's a different story altogether though.

The "It's going to be okay" made me tear up slightly even though I don't care if I'm gay, bi, straight or something else. I might be gay but that might be a problem as I am in japan.

When I saw the thumbnail for this vid my first thought was, "Someone thinks "How do I know I'm gay" can be answered in 10 minutes and some change. Yea, right". I'm going to save and share this video.
