Five corrections - 1. At 5:42, the bridge that the train crosses is not over the Shawsheen River, nor is that bridge in Lawrence. Rather, that bridge is above Haverhill Street (Route 133), in Andover. 2. At 6:31 and at 9:06, the train passes underneath South Union Street, not "Sonon" Street. 3. At 8:05, the train passes underneath Salem Street, which is not a part of Route 114. 4. At 10:30, the train crosses Marblehead Street, not Sutton Street (Sutton Street is the next grade crossing after Marblehead Street). 5. At 14:14, the train crosses Cross Road, not Holt Road. Also, that grade crossing is in Haverhill, not in Lawrence.

I really enjoyed watching this video, I will have to continue along and watch the other videos in the series towards Boston. I have watched a few Amtrak cab rides on CZcams on various routes and I find this one to be one of my favorites because of the multiple aspects footage is filmed from (out the cab window, behind the engineer, from inside the coaches, as well as run-bys) which most of the other cab rides Ive seen only has the "straight out the fireman side windshield view" and nothing more. Thank you for uploading this great footage!

Saw and 383/305 working AIM that day, was surprised when I heard them rolling south afterwards, forgot they sometimes run around in Readfield. Both have nice horns so wasn't complaining on hearing them extra!

Everytime I see those grain cars on the front of the consists all I can hear in the back of my head is Stephen Demboske saying "grain for those starving chickens in western Maine 😆😆😆

Great shots, composition, etc. The view of the train climbing up out of Lac Megantic, showing the rear of the train still down in the town, even as the head end approached the crossing, is a reminder of the longer and longer consists so common today. This is the grade on which the runaway gained more and more speed, finally derailing on the now beautifully tidied up curve in the heart of the village, much of which was "blowtorched" into cinders with the loss of over forty souls. (Point of info: Are those CPKC trains now operating with at least two crew members, the engineer and conductor?)

I vacationed in Island pond every summers from 1991-2002. I remember CN power being the mainstay to at least 2000. Once in a while a yellow SLA would pop up.
