Dudde why you chose a city of Bachar to make your tourism analogy of Algeria vs Morocco, Bachar is considered a military zone and a massive oil extraction area, it's like you compare the Nevada desert in the US with Paris. you should visit Algiers or Oran or Bejaia or many other amazing places in the country, you will have a whole other experience

This is one of the buildings still around hundreds of years before Beethoven, Mozart, most cathedral churches standing now, hundreds of years before Joan Of Arc was born, before the Magna Carta was signed, before Marco Polo began to explore the world, before the Renaissance period began in Italy, hundreds of years before Christopher Columbus came to America, before the Inca Empire was formed in Peru, before Michael Angelo painted a church, before Magellan went around the world, about 500 years before Shakespeare was born, hundreds of years before the first stone was put to build the Taj Mahal, over 500 years before Newton's theory of gravity, over 600 years before Bach writes his first baroque song, almost 800 years before Darwin's origin of species, and over 600 years before the United States Declaration Of Independence was signed. In other words, this Norway Stave Church has stood the test of time !!

You can see the ancient and authentic historical character that is not compared by any other country, and you can see the modern contemporary character as well, and if you like the desert or Bedouin character, you have that too. To be more frank and not too emotional, we know very well that a lot is now promoting Algeria to promote its tourism, and I do not mean that it is not good, but it is not equipped enough, and the comparison is not appropriate. And you can get everything you said in the video in Morocco as well plus much more........

I would definitely recommend staying in hotels, as accommodation is not as usual to find as in a country that is more touristic. For indiviual hotels, I'm afraid I have no contacts as this was a few years ago, but I remember finding many of them on tripadvisor, in cities like Oran, Tlemcen or Taghit. Good luck!
