We still have several (rescued) Caspian Mares, and one Gelding, to re-home. This is a "critically endangered" breed, once thought to be extinct. They were re-discovered in 1965, in Northern Iran. Only 1100, still exist in the world. There is a concerted effort by Caspian breeders in Europe, UK, Austrailia, Canada, and the USA, ... to keep this breed from going extinct again. These horses are fu...

15 Caspian Horses rescued in Alberta, Canada
zhlédnutí 8KPřed 5 lety
The ancient Caspian breed of horse was once thought to be extinct. They were rediscovered in Northern Iran, in 1965. This is a critically endangered breed with only about 1700 world wide. Sadly, the person originally caring for these mares was killed in a plane crash, which is what prompted the herd dispersal. We rescued this herd from the auction on behalf of the Equus Survival Trust, in North...

-12C and a beautiful sunny day in Alberta, Canada. We took a run out to the Foothills, to see the Wild Horses. It was great to see some of the foals born in the spring looking so healthy. Lots of foals never made it this far. Heavy predation has taken many.

Desert painted ranch
dogs were annoying. Wonder if he was a male driven out of his herd by the head stud, and was looking to start his own herd with some of your horses?
Does the wild stallion following you because he is interested in some of your horses if some of your horses are mares and doesn't the wild stallion live in herd?
Up it No
I think this stallion was a little confused to see these strange horses with human beings on their backs!😂
Gorgeous!
The problem is the cattlemen sit on both sides of the table.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video!
That stallion has some fight in him. 🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think he wants you to follow him!!!!😢
Amazing stallion but what happens with the trees? Damn humans
Not only the stallion is mistreated, but the dogs were in great danger to get kicked and killed.
Magnificent

You were blessed to have had the opportunity to be up close and personal with this beautiful stallion. Getting this on video is priceless. He is a very pretty mover. Thank you for sharing.
I've got a mustang. He's got a really smooth gaited trot. He's as good in the mountains as they come.
I've just seen this and it's certainly an eye opener. Everyone should want the truth, but clearly some don't. The horses are not harming anything. Thank you for this.
This is what good journalism is - very informative and revealing.

the forest was cut down, soon the whole will end
Just leave ur UNtrained dogs at home or dogs in general. I'm a canine lover so, don't think I'm partial. Wild animals need to stop being viewed like they're just an object
WHAOU !!!!! Génial , Merveilleux !!!!!!!🥰👌👍👏😍
Wonder if his marks are from being captured at some point.
SOO UR WAY BACK THERE N NOT CARRIN A .357??? ,,,,SOMETHING A FLYSWATTER
ANNN WHERS A COUPLE OF ROTTWHILLERS WHO WOULD GO RITE AFTER THAT BIG GUY
SOO DID GRAMPS LEARN ANYTHING...ALLLWAYS CARRY IN BACKCOUNTRY==COMMON SENSE
He majestically stands his ground. Beautiful to observe.
Well, I blame you about the dogs, I don’t blame the stallion .
He's probably not calling the stallions bud.... He's calling to the mares.
From what I can see the dogs are not under tight enough control in the circumstances
Love to see the beautiful horse that are still free!! Thank you so much for your responsible compassion
It's funny how the heard bond will bring them to you...He is beautiful to look at. Where is this place you are riding at?
Looks like what used to be a beautiful forest now a ruin.
People are allowed to communicate and scare off animals you know. Lol the constant battle of safety and wanting to be close to the animals.
