Hi, I like this watch as it has a bluish backlight compared to the solar version d5600 which has a white backlight.. But I have a question does the light turn on automatically like in the solar version ??. It a very useful feature to read time at dark without pressing the light switch.

Wouldn’t hurt to mention how hard it is to push the adjust button. I literally had to return mine because I couldn’t even actuate the adjust pusher when taking off the watch, let alone while it’s on my wrist.

I put mine on an Aquastar Tropic strap. Isofrane, Tropic and Aquastar are all owned by the same company, so it’s a legit Tropic brand strap in 19mm. It’s a freakin AWESOME watch!

I stole this model from Walmart. Had never seen Walmart sell any type of gshock watches before. Idk why I yanked it. Could have just bought it. Never stole anything from a store before or after that. Idk why I did it just really wanted it and was so easy to take. Feel guilty. I don’t ever steal but this watch just needed to be with me. Solid watch lmao. First place I’ve ever admitted this to.

Nice watch. Seiko does a great job. CZcamsrs should consider the SPB 383 black GMT that came out in 2023 if in the market at this price range. This is a fantastic watch that I also own. I put a black rubber strap on it which I believe is an improvement to the overall look. Might want to check it out.

I got mine a couple Erika’s original MN straps in black and grey. They’re comfortable, look good, and custom to your wrist size and come in 19mm. Also Synchron original tropic straps are under 19.7ish mm even tho they say 20mm. Squeezing in seiko’s fat spring bars squeezes the lug width to 19mm.

I've been toying with the idea of buying the Seiko SPB383 (aka MM200 GMT) for MONTHS. I've looked at a lot of other videos about Seiko since then and I don't like any of them as much as this one. And now I'm, when I about to buy it I saw your video ... and I'm confused, because damn, that one is a beauty, too... Well, thank you...

Have they finally figured out how to align a bezel, I mean they've only been making dive watches since 1960. And no, it's not a Seiko quirk, it's Seiko laziness. Wish I could fit a Sellita SW in it. Maybe then my SPB would actually be worth $1200

To be honest i havent worn that A168WA since i was young. Recently looking at the casio gshock gbx-100-7 but i think i might just pick up that A168WA since they cheap.

Hi, brilliant review, and to see it on bracelet is even harder to find on CZcams so kudos for that. Question……how does this case wear? I notice the case isn’t as cushioned as say the turtle or the Willard and the case looks pretty flat? Does it conform to the wrist? I have a 6.5 inch wrist.

I have the silver dial version, SPB333, and think the dimensions, weight and dial are perfect. I also really like the fact that Seiko FLATTENED out the back, so no "Wave Bump". Seiko, are you listening? You should do that for ALL of your ProSpex watches.

I own this watch and several other Casio watches. I love the history and look of the 5600, but the buttons are awkward and uncomfortable. I also have a Casio Twin Sensor SGW100 which has all the features of the 5600 as well as a built in compass and thermometer! It also has much easier to press buttons and a more legible display… all for $10 less than the 5600. I also have a Casio Royale, which has most of the same features as the 5600, but has a unique look/vibe and also much easier to push buttons. I like all 3, but the Royale and the Twin Sensor are far easier to actually use, but I still love the 5600 for the look and history. I currently have serval Casios in my collection and I have owned 5 different Gshock watches, and I have a whole list of more I still want. Casio watches are a fun, inexpensive hobby. If you like the 5600, got pick up a Casio Royale (AE1200WH). You can get them on Amazon right now for $19.99 which is a STEAL and they are super fun/cool and much easier to use. Then get a Twin Sensor. Then get a CasiOak. Then get a Calculator Watch. Then get a Casio Duro. Then get a F91w. Then get an A700. Then get a W735H.

My experience with the 6R35 is that it’s hot garbage. 🗑️ I have 2 watches with this movement and both run like shit. The timegraph on one of them looks like a goddamn sine wave.

The thick rubber strap Seiko put on it is there for a reason ..

Lovely watch! I’ll probably get the King turtle sometime in the future with the 4R movement. Personally, at this price I feel that Seiko needs to offer a higher beat movement. You see this 6R movement used even in their 750€ Alpinist. They also recycle the same movement for divers at the 1700€ price point when you take a look at their current catalogue. Seiko is no longer the people’s champion anymore. The jump in price in my opinion isn’t worth it compared to the 600 € King turtle

I am a 40 yer old first time beard trimmer, this was very helpful.

In the place I am living now, G-Shock is perceived as “teenager’s watch” because it was associated with skateboarder, athlete, adventurer, you name it. Well, we have G-Shock manufacturing plants here so they’re everywhere to begin with. Too bad people here treated them like a delicate pieces, I even saw many took them off when washing hands or in rain. There was a time I jump into the pool with my DW5600 and my friends just asked “Won’t that break your watch?” or something my dude just screams “Oh no, I banged my G-Shock on the pole, did I break it” I was just like “relax, it’s made for it” then tossed mine on the ground.

I love mine on a Delugs CTS strap. 19mm to 16mm taper looks amazing on this watch. Give it a shot!

Can i have a brand of rubber strap ?

I own two of them strangely one has a noticeable after light grey dial while the other has a darker grey dial, I put a StarpHabit FKM tropical style strap 20mm without zero issues it fits perfect as it may be a tad under 20mm. I have a nice blue on one and a black strap on the second one.
