Bought a 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg in 2015. It has so many weird electrical issues and all the interior upholstery decided to come unglued at the same time a few years ago. Talked to a friend who had one and he had some of the same issues. Never buying another. Volkswagen. Good luck.

I've never been a big fan of cosmetic only mods on offroad vehicles. Any mod on going into cosmetics takes away from a mod that could help performance.

I wouldn't want to mount it in the front. In case of a violent car collision, i dont want that thing explodes in my face. I'd just mount in the back of the SUV or in the sedan trunk.

I put one in my 1 ton van. 2 wheel drive. Highway driving 90% of the time but in the winter it’s awesome for traction. I haven’t noticed a problem with tire wear. I like the fact both tires will have 100% traction no matter what speed or conditions you drive in…at least until the cam plates wear out. But 3 years and 35000 miles and still going strong.

Thank you so much! I was clueless how to bench test my anchor windlass. I had no idea about the three poles. as one of the poles was just the case - I have only the two poles to the brushes. But your video showed me I need to connect the OTHER brush pole to the grounded case. I was stumped as the two brush poles are short to each other. (lots of sparks!)

I took the flags off the back, painted them the rubicon red, then put them back on. Adds a really nice touch to my 2024 jlu rubicon.
