The ladder thread you showed. I bought a lot of them (40 balls ) in a liquidation sale like 15 years or more ago. I paid 5$ for 8 or 10 balls bag. It was made by Bernat and they had some patterns for belts, decorative scarves, a sleeveless sweater, and shawls made of this. I made a giant market bag out of it. Very sturdy and expandable. Also made a shoulder bag for my tablet and a few narrow scarves. I still have a few balls. I still have copies the original patterns from Bernat in my Dropbox if you are interested

Would a smaller hook work if I don’t want it so big? I don’t want to loose the lacyness of it.

If i want to make this in a larger size would i just add extra stitches to each row?

I hold my hook kinda like you would a wand with my pointer finger on the metal part of the hook. That way my tulip hooks are perfect for me. And the big point when buying was the color for me. I really dislike those multicolor sets like the clover amour

Do you have an alternative granny square for the miter granny square? I'd like all my squares to have three colors. And I agree that this pattern is best with a maximum of two colors.

Love your tutorials! And this month's pattern too. A nice break for me from the more complicated ones. 😊And a big THANK YOU for the tip on straightening out the twisted spikes! It made the pattern look much more beautiful when I fixed the twisted ones. Sometimes I lack the common sense to do things like that!

I could not honestly 'color' code yarn by holidays because most of the colors involved are a favorite with myself, hubby or kids...lol

Glow in the dark yarn with other colors would be great for some of those ideas.
