It was so great to meet you at Stitch North! Nati was on a round robin recruiting mission so I’m excited to work on those with everyone and finish next year 🔔 I think some series the book reviews can be stand alone sans other times you have to discuss it as a whole, if the series is complete I do tend to prefer that because some books either take a while to hit their stride or hit a slump

Julie, as you were showing your Star Wars piece and mentioning how those are “your” colors, I truly believed you, because the colors in your shirt were the exact same colors in the background of the stitching. Not to mention those same colors are echoed on one of your bookshelves. You’re not kidding! 😂 Great video, thanks!

I started Sarah and Maryam's Halloween patterns! Halloween stitching is just so fun. It really is a good issue.

Oh my gosh Julie, I honestly think we must be physically linked. I’m in Liz’s Patreon and instantly pulled out True Blue to kit up the June chart too when I saw it. Plus I’m doing Artsy Housewife as well. I was resisting that Patreon but when I saw Within A Dream I joined immediately. I’m doing it on Dirt Road. We definitely have similar taste😂

Thank you for saying the comment about WIPS and the number one might have! I have about the same number of WIPS you have but I think closer to a hundred with 8 banker boxes full of charts i have kitted ready to start. Why? Because if i love a piece and dont get it could be a lost opportunity later. Yes, missed several that i loved, never to find again. I also stitch full cover projects of which i have at least 40. Do you see my craziness? Love it all and did donate over 16 boxes of charts before we moved many years ago. I have been stitching since 1976.

I cannot remember whether I got this recommendation from you or just found it on my local library app but I have been listening to The Branded and its sequel The Rising by Australian author Jo Riccioni. Just finishing book 2 and really enjoyed it.

Beautiful stitching. I remember Kikimora was such a fun stitch. My dad's side of the family is related to Rebecca Nurse, so I may need to get that pattern.

Hey 👋👋 I'm a new subscriber and this older video came up in the playlist (I just stick a video on and let CZcams do it's thing lol). I just want to raise a point about designers not putting their names on patterns in a language you understand. Consider if an American or English-speaking designer was featured in another flosstubers video from another culture. Would they expect the designer to remember to name the pattern for their language even if they don't speak it? That's a lot of admin considering all of the different languages. There are plenty examples of this in foreign languages so it's a bit of a silly thing to complain about imo. Browsers can translate webpages and that's good enough!

What is the fabric that the Catalogue of Witches Familiar's stitched on? I am newish to stitching so I don't know what the ins and outs of all the good brands are

Mother Nature has hilariously tiny T Rex hands. But she is gorgeous. Your Reaching Skyward is so gorgeous, I didn't recognize it as the SAL. Breathtaking. I know you don't like backstitching, but maybe you could backstitch the border in a color that would save your from frogging and restitching.... The yellow is actually beautiful on screen, but the pattern within it is what is lost.

I haven't been able to stitch since March under Dr's. order I get migraines every I've done everything my Neurologist told me. Tried nerve block shots in my head going to see a new dr. next week I want to stitch so much. I love your WIPs you introduced me to more things than I can put here thank you

I'm stitching on Goth Thirza while watching! So many good wips to choose from. Do you ever think of shortening any of the larger pieces in order to get some smaller, quicker finishes? I've been thinking about that for some of the year-long sals and large samplery pieces. Ok, going back to stitching and watching!
