Registrace 6. 07. 2021
We are just a normal couple that got tired of life on the hamster wheel and decided that there was a lot more to life than work and paying bills. We choose beautiful Willow Alaska for our home base. From here we will be exploring this amazing state while doing the things we love and choosing to make ourselves better in the process. There are a lot of things we've always wanted to do and didn't want end life talking about the things we wish that we'd done, instead we'd choose "now" to do them. So, please follow along with our adventure in Alaska and see what our future holds in store for us. For tomorrow isn't promised, you only have today.

This is the first time I just got on here Bless you both it is so wonderful to see good people
I'm looking forward to seeing you guys. Thanks for the kind words.
Great to see you .. Sorry we missed the live.
Hi Adam and Phyllis! Always a great Monday Happy Hour! Good to see your faces! See you on the next one.
Great Job Adam , Ruger makes some very good fire arms ! I love your rifle if it has as many rounds as it looks you shouldn't have a problem ! Rollo 34
Thank you very much
That muddy trail has got to be a challenge on two wheels.
It sure was but these tires are surprisingly grippy. Thought I'd crash at least once. Maybe next time🤣
Nice little bike…looked like a lot of fun! Now I’ve got a hankering for an old fashioned…🥃
It is a pretty sweet little bike. Stop by after work some night and I'll make you one!
That was one of the best wheeler rides I have been on. Sarah and I thank you for taking us along for the ride. We had a blast and hope that we get to do the trip again some time.
Well thank you guys. It was an honor to have you two with us for it. We love that spot! We will do it again soon I'm sure.
Bike looks fun, but the 6x6 has me interested. I've dropped a dirt bike into a tree in my youth but haven't wrecked an ATV yet!
It's a lot of fun for sure. You'll have to ride the 6x6 when you come up here next. As long as you don't crash it that is😆
Looked like so much fun. Thanks for the video.
It was a blast getting to know the new bike and spending time with friends! Thanks for watching.
Beautiful trip and the Ride. Motorbike always gives me the creeps. I was sixteen many moons ago and I was riding Royal Ensfield bike similar to Harley Davidson no traffic so I started testing the speed made a left turn and sure enough colliding with a bus. I was flown into the air many feet. Motorcycle was totaled. It took me over a year to recover from broken bones and deep cuts and wounds. And got punished by dad because I was ditching the school that day. Since that day never got on a motorbike. My brother has Harley Davidson and he offers me to go for a ride but my answer is nope not today and not tomorrow. This is when I was Very wild.
Well I am very sorry about all of that. Would you like to go for a ride when you come up here next? Just kidding. I completely understand your feelings about it. That sort of shock at a young age can be rather formative.
Can’t wait to see it strapped to the camper for some hunting and fishing expeditions ,
Weird that you would say that. I was just thinking of doing that yesterday🤔
@@alaskacutthecord769 great minds think alike
You have a perfect play ground there in Alaska! Glad you had a great time. To bad about the Pork Chops. But the Old Fashions took there place, ey?🤪🤪 Thanks for the excursion. Take care.
It is a beautiful place for this sort of fun! The old Fashions didn't quite do it for me. I was starving. Have a great week you two!
Vroom vroom, you all know how to have a fun time 😀🫵🪨
Thanks Brun!
Fully enjoyed. Thanks for sharing remote road trip❤❤❤
Well thank you, it was a ton of fun for us as well!
@@alaskacutthecord769 awesome!
Hi Adam and Phyllis! Honest review of the Yamaha. Great seeing the before and after the live stream! Looks like you all had a great time. Others already mentioned, but what happened with the pork chops? Dogs enjoy them? "Not dead" means they didnt eat them? LOL TY to you both for sharing our link in your description, we appreciate your support. We learned how to add featured channels to our home page, and added your channel. We wanted to give back the same support you have shown us. Another great video. See you on the next one!
The pork chops survived! They were half cooked by the time we got home and the doggos didn't even touch them! Thank you so much for your support!
@@alaskacutthecord769 LOL Great doggos! Have a great week!
Oh to be young and whole again !!! Thankyou for letting me join you visually at least. Its not hard to imagine the ride tho when you've done it before. 🇦🇺🤗🙏💞👍👌✌️👏✝️🇺🇸
Oh, thank you so much! We try to live everyday to the fullest. Glad you were able to come along so to speak. Rob and Sarah had a great time too!
Always fun to get out even if weather is not perfect. Have fun😊
So true. If we waited for perfect weather in Alaska we'd never do anything!
That looks like a fun ride.
It was a blast!
Did the dogs help themselves to the pork chops before you got back home?
Nope, no pork chops were harmed in the filming of this video!
No pork chops !!?!
I know right😭
Awsome, feel like i was there with you.
Thank you so much!
I make fried zucchini , then cover with a few scrambled eggs, with some parmesan cheese and a touch of thyme. I think I used to make it Adam when you stayed.
You probably did and my memories are making me cook in now, hard to say!
What a sad loss!!!! They'll need all the help they can get I'm sure.
Tons of people have reached out and donated, I think they'll be in a better place soon.
Cool winch..! I'll be looking into one. Tip for you... Put some tire chains on both your front and rear tires of your Rokons. Youll be amazed on how it changes your winter Rokon rides! I have 3 Rokons... a 74 & 2 - 68's. Thanks for the video...
Thank you for the tips with the Rokon. Much appreciated. The little winch has been awesome! If you get one I really think you'll like it.
It’s just about that time of year. 🎣
They are snagging in Seward already!!

oh gosh just read that about your Dad, I’m so sorry. You make him proud.
Thank you. I do try.
Shepherds make the best supervisors don’t they? 😂 Great teamwork you two!
That's what they're the best at, and eating.

Interesting video..! Shop sounds are always better than bad music.
I couldn't agree more!
Getting all your firewood in one week is impressive. Well done!
Thanks Randy. I'm finally recovered!
Sending our prayers and condolences! Many hugs guys. So very sorry! 😢
We're all good here. Thank you for the well wishes.
Sorry to hear about your dad, Adam. Lots of work marked off the to-do list early in the season! Thanks for the shout out!
It's ok. Thank you though. Getting things done so we can do the fun things. You are very welcome!
A lot of work, must feel good when you’re ready for next season. It always surprises me how much less a stack of firewood makes compared to a loose pile.
It feels great and honestly so do I. That is a lot of physical work for a week straight and it highlighterd some areas that could use some work on my body too. Have a great week!
Sorry for the loss of your Father . Only time can turn the frowns into smiles of good memories .
Wow what a great wood yard you have. That was some pretty tight stacking there Phyllis . The high speed hand splitting was hard to watch , looked like some hands got pretty close to the wrong end of that axe .
Phyllis does pretty darn good at the stacking for sure. I noticed that too in the high speed. All fingers are intact.😁
I'm so sorry to read about the passing of your father! I can see from this video that he taught you well! That was some awesome teamwork! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day Phyllis! ❤
Thank you and all is ok here. Our teamwork makes all of this possible, Have a great week!
Woo hooo loads of wood. Glad you got it done and now have plenty of free time for the rest of the summer. Great job guys as always
Thanks Rob! We need all the time we can get up here, or down here from you.
That is one automated wood splitting operation you have there
After 3 winters we have a pretty good system between the two of us!
So sorry to hear of your loss, but also impressed at your efforts. Firewood is essential to life as we know it and it looks like you're well prepared and can rest easy, working on all the other tasks that so quickly fill up the short summer here.
We are all good here. We are set for the winter which is good cause there are many more preparations to be done before it gets cold again. Have a great week!
Firewood is better than money in the bank. How does the birch burn compared to pine? In our neck of the woods people love burning yellow cedar unless they are smoking and then alder is the wood of choice
Back in WI we liked Birch for the smell and long lasting. Here it's the same and the only hardwood that we have. We don't like it for the amount of soot that the birch bark puts off. It can plug a chimney quickly but it lasts all night long. Spruce is hot and relatively fast but not like red or white pine which seems to last only minutes and the pine burns clean. Relatively, that is.
Gotta get it while the gettings good! Im doing the same. Yall be safe! Have a blessed week! Josh in North Pole btw👋
This is true. I knew it was you from the Yall😇. Awesome to hear from you, have great week!
I was just talking to my dad about this, how many times a piece of wood is handled, cutting, hauling out, splitting, stacking, restacked at camp or sauna to be enjoyed, glad this chore is done for you
It is a necessary evil at this point. Plus I need it done so I can have fun doing other things that are way more fun.
Happy Moms Day Phyllis! 😊💐😊
Thank you so much and you as well have an awesome day!
Great job guys! Team work!😊
Thank you Lee!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, PHYLLIS
Thank you so much Brun! Happy Mothers day to you!!

That's a lot of firewood....👍👍
Yes it is. More than enough!
