Honda RVF400R NC35 Pure Sound - Real-Life Ride 3-Track "Lake Garda"
zhlédnutí 443Před 10 měsíci
If you have ever played the videogame Ride 3, you might recognise this road. The track named "Garda Lake" is based on the road you see in this video, known as the "Strada della Forra", translated literally as the "chasm road". The valley the road winds through is better known as "Val di Brasa" or "Brasa Schlucht". During daylight, it is a one way road, only leading up, carving it's way through ...
Honda CBR250RR MC22 Pure Sound - Via del Sole Hillclimb
zhlédnutí 328Před 10 měsíci
Me on my MC22 hillclimbing the ferocious Via del Sole to Punta Veleno on a very cloudy day. The GoPro's wide view angle does not do justice to the real speed and steepness of this pass. The cracked, narrow roads, blind corners and cliffs make the sensation of speed more intense than normally. Punta Veleno is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.171m (3,841ft) above the sea level, located in the...
Honda NS400R Pure Sound - The Last Ride

This video is dedicated to the last ride of my NS400R, which I will trade in together with my NSR125R for a Honda NSR250SE MC28 next week. The NS400R is fitted with the original mufflers this time and I kind of like the sound of it better than the Mach1 muffler in my previous video. They sound for ring-dingy if you know what I mean ;) Don't mind the crampy corners. The tires are 30 years old an...

Never made a video before on my NSR125R and I'm going to trade it in soon, so I might as well post a vid of it. Enjoy! The NSR is fully derestricted and fitted with a lovely Gianelli exhaust. Top speed is about 150 km/h.
Honda CBR250RR MC22 Pure Sound New Mic setup Experiment
zhlédnutí 1,6KPřed rokem
Experimenting with a new mic setup, placing the Zoom H1N recorder on the tank just behind the cockpit while using a deadcat. Although you can see a lot of wind distortion in the video, the deadcat did a good job filtering the wind noise. I had to increase the gain a lot in post though as I put it way too low on the recorder (25%) which lead to some distortion in the final product. I'm going to ...

Beautiful bike id love to own one within the next few years b4 they get too expensive
Do you have hrc card for full power?
@@ev92 I recently sold mine again for €15.000. It was fully stock and I didn't have the HRC card. Too much hassle and too expensive to get that done.
Had to come back to this video what a great sounding bike do you still have it? I must get mine back on road soon
@@ev92 Yes, I still have this one and my MC22. Those are the only two bikes I will never sell!
So, CBR250RR was so fast that it needed rollcage?
@@mdraselparvez 😂😂😂
@@LucHeijnen 😝😝😝
I went down from the top on a 300cc scooter without realising that scooters were not allowed on it….had the front brake boil and zero brake pressure on the front brake at around the 4:41 mark, not a fun experience I walked it down about 2kms until the brakes cooled then got brake pressure back thank god.Just nursed it back to lake level road.I have plenty of experience on bikes but never realised the road would be that severe especially with 2 on the scooter and zero engine braking I was blessed the front and back brake didn’t overheat at the same time or I was a gonner😖Lesson learned with how crap the scooters are at long downhill descents!!
@@Eirehunter22 Oh my, that sounds scary, but good that you had the experience how to handle situations like these 👍🏻 I was surprised to see the sign at the top at first. I've never seen a sign that strongly advises against using scooters, but the reason why soon became clear 😅 I've done the descent as well on this bike, which is very light and has short ratio gears, but even when coasting in second gear it picked up speed very quickly. Lovely scenic road though!
Prachtig ding man.
@@LucHeijnen Toch bedankt! Nog veel plezier ermee!
Bought one in 98 but couldn't get the carbs to work properly so sold it for stupid money now I am aware that it is worth thousands 😢
Unbelievable this sound is SOOOO GOOD!!!
Johny turbo😂
Had a ride on one few years ago............... It was a little DIFFERENT from my Super dream. 😂.
Going to buy this .... absolutely
Where is your microphone mounted, almost no wind noise.
@@wisetoad See description below the video 👍🏻
@@LucHeijnennice! Is that in the rear storage box or on the outside.
@@wisetoad That's inside the storage box. The foam gets clamped into place when you close the rear seat, so nothing can move around that could make noise anymore.
@@LucHeijnen very cool!
how can i buy one of these in south eastern Europe??
Get lucky

Wow, that’s amazing man. Glad to know the bikes still running all these years later. Will be using similar mic setup soon but debating weather to mount to tank or bottom of backpack. Your clip sounds awesome
Thank you! These bikes are simply indestructible! To be honest, I think you get the best sound when you mount the microphone in the tail of the bike. See the following video: czcams.com/video/D5yVDRPTQhw/video.htmlsi=FqAQko3XEG3L489P
@@LucHeijnen hmm maybe the balance is something in between because I love that induction mc22 sound with the gear cam whine ya know. Keep it up man 🙏🔥
Even though it's a tiny little thing, it sound SO incredibly good. I can't wait to get one of these.
Technically speaking, from a physics perspective, they could get this same insane 18-19k rpm out of a 400cc these days. So imagine you made it that, but then tacked on two more cylinders for a straight-6, 600cc at 19k RPM. Instead of the usual 120-ish hp out of a 600 4-cyl, we could very well be looking at 150hp out of a 600 6-cyl spinning up to 19k. Not to mention literally double the epic sound insanity of the Honda CBX-1000. Seriously, go download a clip of a CBX1000 with a 6-1 exhaust, then put it in Audacity and pitch it up one octave. That's it. That's your CBX-600.
My man, you are on to something 🤩I love this way of thinking!
This is music to my ears 👂 😻😅
These are rare, none for sale in my country 😢 so thanks for uploading this amazing sounding bike that you ride here ❤

Time for a clutch ? Slipping in 6th wasn’t it ? Nice bike.
Correct! This was one of my first test rides, I replaced it shortly after this video.
@@LucHeijnen oops that was a few years back wasn’t it. Are you still burning synthetic two stroke oil now and then, you have to exercise the race horses too ✌️🇺🇸

A real shame the new cbr250rr will not be coming to europe
This is music.
At first, I thought why does it sound like a single cylinder, then I realised it's a two stroke, then I found it's a v twin. A v twin two stroke sports bike. That's just so awesome. It's so sad bikes are so boring now.
So true. Back in the days, Honda dared to make lots of ambitious choices when designing motorcycles. They really thought out of the box. Exactly the reason why I only own 90's Honda's. Nowadays though, they're one of the dullest motorcycle manufacturers in the world...
Sounds like an absolute dream!
It's a dream come true for me 😍
I bet these handle extremely well
They do! Taking corners is effortless!
I'm saving money just to import one of these in the Philippines
MC22は高価なのでMC19 250Rに乗ってます、普段は8000回転しか回しません、18000回転まで回すと高周波音で気分が良くないので。どちらも良いバイクです。
I love your taste in bikes
Nice view dude.
A little rev box....
I had one of these as my first bike in 1997 (learner legal in New Zealand). Any time you stopped at or left traffic lights, you sound like a MotoGP rider. So agile as well - absolutely awesome machines.
How did you find it as a learner bike? I’m looking at one at the moment but sceptical on how touchy it might be including throttle, clutch etc how did you find reliability? Looking at one with 33xxx kms. Also a kiwi here.
@@nickwinter3211 They make great beginner bikes, low to the ground, light and not too much power. Just remember there's no ABS and you do have to deal with carbs which need an overhaul every couple of years whether you ride often or not. If you can afford to have a good mechanic to maintain the bike for you I'd say go for it.
I love that this is in the netherlands, thought they were impossible to find in europe, as a dutchie I feel my love for small bore 4 cylinder is represented
Very rare, but not impossible. I believe there are about 5 of these in the Netherlands!
Beautiful place. 👌👌👌
It is certainly not a driving around town kinda bike, but I do love the fact that you can go the speed limit while sounding like you are leaving orbit.
Ring-a-ding-ding-ding-rrrriiiinnnngggggggg😁...love those 2-strokes.
Great sounding bike... what road is this and where is it?
Thank you! This is the SS45 between Riva and Limone along Lago di Garda.
It’s a different sound to a racing NS500?
Yes, because the NS400 has a 90° V3 with two cylinders pointing down and one up. The NS500 has a 112° V3 with two cylinders pointing up and one down. This gives it a different firing order and different vibrations which changes the engine note.
What the hell kinda road is this, two cycle lanes joined together?
Welcome to the Netherlands 😂 These kinds of lines indicate that this is a 60km/h road.
A true little giant killer can punch well above its weight ❤
very cool bike
Great confusion but low speed. What a headche !
Who else just zoomed in on the tach and had an eargasm whenever it passed 14K
I own a NSR125R JC22 Super Sprint 2001 ,so satisfying but this is on another level 👌 Awesome machine 👊
