See how a pit handles when the lights malfunction and go dark. This situation was scary. Often these lights die, but we can all get a new one fairly quick. However, when all lights go dark at once, it can be a whole different beast to read music and follow a conductor.

Star was premiered on April 22, 2022, Composed by Joseph Newton Star was written as a challenge to create one blended instrument out of two marimbas. Most of the piece sounds as one whole melody, but is actually split between the two marimbas. This challenge leads to excitement, and is an excellent exercise for all duets.
