In this video I met up with a friend of mine and we cruised around Laguna Beach, CA stopping at a few of our favorite local spots. Had some coffee, drank a few beers (one of us ate a few ‘special treats’) and enjoyed a chill Friday afternoon on our e-bikes.

Jamie , this is a long shot but I was wondering what hex/wheel adapters you used on this build? Kind of hit a snag on a recent build with Injora wheels and hex spacers/adapters not fitting the new Cayman. Agin long shot you see this but figured I’d ask and see. Appreciate it

Looks awesome, I just bought a deadbolt and will be doing some of these mods. One question though, why didn’t you use loctite on all those screws going into metal? Have any come out on you?
I haven't had any issues with the screws getting loose or coming out. Have fun with your build!

did the new motor increase speed or torque? or both?
I wouldn't say that it increased the speed but yes, I do notice quite a bit more torque compared to many other motors that I've used.

Super cool man. I ordered the frame kit with the motor then got the same esc and transmitter. I'm making mine 4ws and that transmitter is ideal for it. I'm $400 deep so far lol...

I just bought the kit that comes with the micro Komodo and im basically doing the same build wit that body. any tips on paintig? never done one before
@@jamiealan thanks, your truck looks awesome! Any complaints about it yet? I was stuck on the Minnie or micro Komodo but just went with the micro since it came with it. Il probably extend the links at some point and I bout a gt5 like you, I’ve never even driven a brushless rig so I’m pretty pumped to try it out
His you strap all your electronics in the cab? Just finished my build and I’ve been putting the battery in the back which I don’t like. Looks like you put your battery on the bottom then set everything on top?

These Credit Card Crawlers are all the rave. A sub $50 made in China plastic truck people dump $800+ into. I know I spent $500 on a old Losi Mini Rock Crawler during covid cuz I was bored. But at what point is it not a Traxxas/SCX24? They should just sell a box with pictures and a list of all the addon/ mod companies maybe with % discounts. Why ship with anything when good or bad its going in the trash haha..

hot tip, 20 screws is a whole lot less than 60. If you at all change tires, just put 5 of the beadlock screws in, its plenty saves time on your life yanno lol
