@WelcomeHome76 pretty much. The custom rolls don't have age other than the age of the tobacco. Custom rolls are not aged prior to sale. Now that being said, some custom rolls don't get sold immediately just like inventory of anything sits on shelves until they're sold. Custom rolls don't get made in mass to stock a huge supply. That doesn't happen, instead, other vittolas will be rolled until inventories are sold then the torpedoes (rollers) will roll more

@WelcomeHome76 personally I try to age my custom rolls for at least a month so I pick up multiple rolls to allow me to have some rest. If I pick up 1 bundle and the sticks are good then the aging commitment becomes very difficult!

@GraphiteandCigars smoke what you enjoy. It doesn't matter what people like if they smoke what they enjoy. I have a neighbor who smokes Nubs amd loves them. To each his own!

@@KimoKapaku I agree completely. I love a good Cuban cigar when I can get one. One day the US will open Cuba for travel and we can all share a smoke together in Havana.

@Aaron-ep9ne personally I have never been a RYJ fan and frankly I don't make it a point to collect them. That being said, the brands I do collect or have in my humidor are: Cohiba, Trinidad, Bolivar, Montecristo, Partagas, Hoyo and Ramon Allones

@trillioncap you will find any govt store such as LCDH or Caracol to have what you're looking for. The prices will all be the same as it is set by the state. The only difference is the available inventory at each store so I recommend visiting each store FIRST then make a 2nd trip to the stores that have what you want. My FAVORITE shop as highlighted by mu videos and COPIED by other youtubers is The shops at the Comodoro hotel called LA Escogido del tabaco. The ladies there are the best and tell them you saw the shop on Kimo's yourube channel and you will get a discount on the margarita custom roll stick! Which is my personal favorite that's rolled by Yanis!

@user-mg3gn2nd7n that's a lot of effort but safe. Personally I don't do any of that amd just put boxes and bundles in my luggage but it's up to you. I never tell people what to do or how to do things. I just share my experiences only. I do recommend being very careful buying habanos in Mexico and only recommend doing a lot of background research on the shop you buy from. The 2 shops I go to here in Playa del Carmen are legit!

@SuperBass1964 without looking amd inspecting myself I cannot say 100% so you have to do your own research. When I verify and authenticate a shop I do 3 things: 1) I verify box codes and use a black light on the govt label for the watermarks. I also look over the Habanos S.A. insert in each box for translation errors; 2) I ask the shops for their invoices and P.O.s from Habanos S.A.;3) I request to see the invoices from the last 2 orders shipped from Habaons S.A.

@StevenMcCurdy-rc8hr as opposed to what other shops? Do you know that in Cuba ALL shops have the same pricing as it's set by the govt? Or are you assuming just because of the prices you think it's a tourist shop? There are NO tourist shops in Havana. All stores are run by the state

Take an empty box of new world. Remove the bands on the Cubans and place them in your new world. (Just a extra precaution I’ve heard other Americans take) 👍🏽 or just buy air tight tupperware container

@Hengoed sorry but im back in San FranSHITHOLE for the month. Go to the LA Casa Del Habano in Cancun it's in the hotel zone. When you come in you will see a rolling table to your immediate left. If you see Reinaldo there working ask him for his D4 And robusto. Try some of his other custom rolls. He will show you the cabinet at the back of the shop with his customs

@georgigeorgiev-ei4or all about fucking taxes. Im not saying there shouldn't be tax bc shit has to be funded. The problem I have is assigning ultra high tax to punish those unfairly and then hiding behind some bullshit excuse like " smoking causes more strain on healthcare" when NONE OF THE TOBACCO TAX goes to any discount in health insurance. I for one an sick of politicians and would like to see term limits of 4 years and then you're done!

@Sotirisp honestly I see cuabas, vegueros and fonseca on the same shelves as guatanameras but I have never smoked any of them. Perhaps I should do a comparison. Thanks for the info!

@KimoKapaku guntanamera is a Machine made cigar, you can not compare it with a handmade cigar. Vagueros with cuaba you can compare it.

@@Eternity_of_Darkness technically you can't bring anything that's cuban to the states. Then again, it's also illegal to not come to a complete and full stop at a stop sign even if there is n9 traffic and you're the only car there

@@KimoKapaku you are absolutely correct. I am in the UK and only buy my sticks in EU. No Regional’s but I bought a box of ERdM Royal series. When I collected my sticks they had a delivery of H Upmann Noellas but sadly my budget was already depleted😩

@andrewgrossman9899 you smoke what you like. Just for perspective. I started out smoking Fuentes, buyung into that hype. I've been to the Fuente factory, smoked cigars with Carleton Fuente in his office. If you like Fuentes or Liga then smoke what you enjoy but don't bother trying to down play habanos bc that's no different than me down playing Fuentes or other brands. Ita not going to affect what you spend your money on to enjoy what you like smoking
