@@joshuawadsworth5050 awesome! Overlanding is different here, but don’t let anybody tell you it’s worse. PA is 2/3 forested and much of that is public land. PA sees the value of outdoor recreation to its economy and the state agency overseeing parks and forests actually does a good job. There are lots of quality off-road parks as well. Find the Central PA Overland Facebook group and join that. It’s one of the highest quality groups on FB. Feel free to comment and ask questions on my videos. Welcome!

True. Generally not why you have an exit on an interstate, though. You have other exits not that far away too with 192 to the west and 210 to the east.

It is a quick way into the NE part of BESF or the southern part of Tiadaghton SF. I prefer taking the backroads when I can, so don’t usually come via I-80. It is a quick exit from the forest, though.

65 is a bit close to the road, but private since the access road curves. It’s a good site, but all the shade obscures satellite for my ZOLEO! Helps keep it cool in summer, though. The shovel is just a regular one attached with Quick Fists. See you soon!

@@dadventuretv2538 good goal to have! Most are fairly mild, but Henstep Valley and Sharpback Hollow in Bald Eagle are closer to off-road park trails.

Thanks for the kind words! I don’t really have any AWD beach experience, so you’re more of an expert than me. I’ve not driven at Hatteras so I can’t compare to that. Most of my beach driving is at Brigantine, NJ which has lots of “sugar sand” and Cape Lookout was not as difficult going as that. I saw a few Subarus at CaLo, so I’m assuming that good tires and airing down are key.

@@moodsofoverland yes! Usually I put 16 to 18 psi on the beach! And with that + be cautious with the deep sand, I’ve been ok! I love my Murano but I hate that Nissan removed the 50/50 lock button on 2015! After my trip, I’ll came back here to share my experience…maybe that help somebody else. Thanks!
