I remember my parents hiring a Connosseur back in the 80s, one with the weird side door and it was the worst boat we ever hired. Ridiculous high back for stern on mooring and terrible steering. We went back to our default boat, the beautiful old wooden cruiser Supreme from Geo Smith in Wroxham the year after, right up till Duncan Prophet sold it on. Great memories from your video.

Great to see some Broads footage from this period in time - there's plenty of old cine films on CZcams, and of course all the video from the digital era, but not a lot from the 80s and 90s. I remember seeing camcorders everywhere back in the day, there must be hundreds of forgotten tapes slowly fading away in attics all over the country.

Just watched your video on the broads.Yes time dose fly ,1993 i was working in Germany. For the last 5 years I have been going to the broads,looking at your footage things have changed a bit ,you need a pilot to go under Wroxham bridge.The Ferry inn as only a pool table now .I am there in September of this year for a week on the boat from Ferry Marina.

im going on my first broads trip in July. Literally dreading doing stuff like this. LOL.

We live in Norwich, its literally a 10 minute drive to Wroxham but never go there. But after watching your video we will have a few weekends on the water. Thank you

Amazing! I’ve been to the Norfolk Broads a few times and it never disappoints

This is one of the few 1p tents that is really a 1.5p tent which I wish were more common. I hate leaving my pack outside so I want a bit of extra room to fit it inside without having to carry a 2p tent. I wish naturehike would add a guy loop halfway up the fly on the sides, along with a matching inner tent clip (like how they do it at the bottom) so that you can pull the walls out a bit and open up the space inside. They already have the extra guy loop on the 2p version fly, just do that but add the inner wall clip as well.
