On my Striebig I had an electrician wire it to the dust collection so the saw switch turned them both on at the same time. Over thousands and thousands of cuts it saved a lot of time. Also, loved the old school Porter Cable trim router. What a shame PC isn't in business anymore. Oh, before my Striebig I had a Holzher verticle panel saw that had electronic grid shift using a proximity sensor, and also had a dust bag that rode along the saw's track in the back. Those were the 2 best things about that saw.

that makita tracksaw struggled to make that cross cut...and it burnt the wood.

I understand that the preload clip helps put the joint together easier but does it help with aliment? Also does the one blade work for all connectors or do you need a narrower one for thinner connectors? Thanks

Hi,i was curious to know, for the difference size fastners, do you need difference size blades? My employer has the cordless version and i use it probably 3 days out of 5. Great tool although i sometimes wish it had dedicated stops like the domino when putting panels together save all the pencil marking. The battery life isn't great either

Keith, I am so glad you are doing these Lamello videos w Colonial. Both Lamello and (especially) Mafell are terrible at explaining the basics, let alone the nuances of their systems. If they did 1/10th of Festools educational outreach they could easily triple their US sales.

I noticed that the lamelo is now available in cordless. Does it matter if the male or female contractor go in the face frame or cabinet?

When you use the 20mm spacer block how do you know where the center line is? Are you making it on the 20mm block and then aligning that to the work piece center line?

Oh yeah! Finish carpenter here. Hate the blue tape. Green is way better for visibility of marking. But they make a light yellow too. Even better. Oh, and that Lamelo thing is pretty trick too

Why exactly are they more expensive than the 14mm clips?

Considering how easy it is to adjust the slot height i just dont see the point in using the spacer block that could also hinder you when plunging.

I noticed on the face frame example at the end the layout lines weren't perfectly aligned. Does the zeta allow for lateral misalignment? Similar to the domino when using tight on one end and loose on the other?

Isn’t free cutting on a table saw (especially tilted) piece that narrow very risky in terms of kickback?
