Never go to the dealership! They tried to sell me a new engine saying it was my timing..when mine engine just had too much oil, changed the oil and It was good. Dealerships are notorious for upselling in service. Use Google to find a highly rated mechanic, whom usually are price competing with other mechanics

Me, today! So hard waiting! 😢 So many people with breakdowns this summer. My tranny went after 2, 8hr day drives. Won't do that again. Roads are too hot, engines and trans are really compromised . Live and learn 😅

I'm curious which area in Cottonwood Cove you went to that your guide hadn't been to in 3 years? If you ever go again, make sure you check out the Red Cove, Chocolate Swirl, and the Rainbow Cove as well. That area is almost as nice as the Southern Wave area. Also, don't give up on North Coyote Buttes. We've been to these areas multiple times and I rate them as follows. (1) The Wave/North Coyote Buttes, (2) Cottonwood Cove/South Coyote Buttes, (3) The North Teepees, (3) White Pocket.

23 years ago, hiking to havasu campground was our first backpacking trip. a guy at work said he almost died hiking out. Which made me very nervous so we started hiking out at 2am. It turned out not to be bad, found out later that they hiked out during the hottest part of the day from 11am to 4pm.
