How to Create Traditionally Animated Lightning Effects
In this electrifying video we will demonstrate how to make analogue lightning effects and at the same time prove how it's always better to make your hands dirty and try to film stuff for real instead of generating stuff on your computer because it will always look better. Except when you're working on that client job, you know, and they ask for some lightning effects, and you ask "ok when do you need it'?", and they say "we need it yesterday", and you say "ok how much money do you have?", and they say "not a lot really", and then you say "ok", and you most definitely don't go film anything for real because they don't deserve it, you don't even generate lightnings in After Effects because even that would be too much work. What you do instead is you search your hard drive for that old lightning effects pack you downloaded back in 2012 that you never used and you just slap some cheap-ass lightnings on their footage and take their money. So only use this analogue technique for your own projects and NEVER for client work... The bastards don't appreciate you anyway...

I LOVE that it has this very textural, real-life feel - a bit of that old school "STYLIZED Hollywood" look similar to an older film that used matte paintings and I really love that! And this is stuff we can do on any budget or NO budget with just some creative thinking. So I really appreciate this!

Bored... The main actor is good, though I don't like no words only action stories, sick of it I wouldn't consider this a good work, of course not a masterpiece. Is long and boring I think comments are bots, not real people Anyway, I didn't even see it complete

Is there any information on how to watch the film? I've been looking for it (albeit, not the rigorously) but I can't find it online. This series has hyped me up so much and after watching slice of life, I honestly can't wait to see this one.

pretty good cinematic world building. characters arent right. for a US audience, the two guys look too foreign. I was guessing the production was French-Canadian or Slavic in origin..."Hero's" facial structure...the Cop's general look, and the close ups of a nasty, goopy beard...seem French...bit 5ue cop's long hairnseem like Donal Logue'e 8n the recent Canadian remake of Resident Evil: Welcome tonRacoon City. And also, most Americans know how to clean (or at least flush) a toilet, so Canadian, French...or...Slavic was my second guess. again, good world building. exterior shots look good enough to be in Blade Runner. the actors dont.
But this sci-fi world is multi ethnic, why would the protagonists need to be american? And yes, you were right, we are Croatian which is Slavic origin. We just learned to flush our toilets recently and it was after we made the film, hence the poop in the toilet. We'll try to avoid it in the next film.
