Should we, as humans, be picked when ripe or wait until we are ready?
In nature, many processes are allowed to happen in their own time. Think about birds hatching from eggs. They hatch when they are ready, not when we decide it's time. This natural timing ensures they are fully prepared for the world outside.
In my consultations, we often discuss these philosophies. Some mamas prefer the structured approach of a hospital induction, where labor is initiated at a specific time for medical or personal reasons. Others prefer to wait for labor to begin on its own, trusting that their body and baby will signal when the time is right, much like a bird hatching naturally from its egg.

I’m 39 weeks 1day been loosing my mucus plug for the past 3days it doesn’t have any strike of blood or reddish colour Iam having contractions but inconsistent,this has never happened to me in all my 5pregnancies I usually never have a bloody show or my waters breaking I just go into full labour my babies arrive in they sac n the midwife breaks it for me n baby’s out so I’m confused i don’t know how this works now

I have a question how did the baby survived so much under water
Water babies are slippery! I experienced a similarly slick situation a few months ago, i was assisting and the senior student was catching, she lost track of the baby under the water and she floated to the top and her face touched the surface on the opposite side of the pool from the student. I grabbed that baby so fast i almost fell in the pool! 😂
