Hello train lovers, my name is Justin and I've been a railfan my whole life. I started this channel to film some trains in my local area but my passion has only grown since then and so had this channel. You may formerly know of this channel as Central Connecticut Railfan, but I am now a student at a college in Western Pennsylvania so it was time to change the name. On this channel you'll see anything and everything trains. I go to school right near the Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh mainline so you can definitely expect so NS action. It is also within driving distance of many scenic railroads and other freight mainlines. My summers will be spent at home in Connecticut so those of you who enjoy CTrail and Amtrak action as well as shortline freight railroads, this will still be on the channel. I hope you enjoy watching my videos as much as I enjoy making them!!!
An Amazing Day Riding the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad
On July 31st, my best friend Chandler and I drove 3 and a half hours to Chama New Mexico to ride the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. Of course, I had to bring my camera along for the journey. This video was filmed and edited to be more causal and real so you may notice me talking and being in it more. I have to give Chandler a huge shoutout for her awesome camera work and for bringing a fresh personality to the channel. Overall this was an incredible day. Our plan was to ride to Osier for lunch and then take the train back, but the conductor managed to convince us to ride the full line and take the bus back. This was an excellent decision. I highly reccomend riding this railroad if you're ever in the area. I hope you enjoy and as always, God Bless!!!

Merry Christmas in March. This video is long overdue however with class and work it has been hard to get videos out but I am hoping to catch up as soon as possible. On December 15th, I journeyed to the Naugatuck Railroad to see the Northern Lights Limited. This is a train covered in lights making quite the seen against the darkness of the night. Nice video! One small thing, 97 was built in 1923, not 1926. The brass medallion on the smokebox door is misleading. She was built as a stock engine for Cuba, but the sale never materialized. She was sold to the Birmingham and Southeastern in March of 1926.
