Oh i didn't know power query could be refreshed this quickly on such a sheet (i know very little about power query, the tutorial i tried didn't vibe with my version of excel). Very good tutorial as always! I set up a report that finds duplicate orders for my colleagues, so they have a lot less hassle with unhappy customers now. I created a report that goes through our open orders and finds duplicate order numbers. If this happens, i get an alert, and an email. It rans constantly on a spare pc, and about once a day there is something wrong. And if there is something wrong, i find out very quickly and we don't ship the stuff. It works with countif i think. My colleagues think I'm some kind of all knowing genius 😂 and it just runs by itself.

I was the first student to arrive to study and felt very happy.

Thank you! What if the Name of the school and primary contact email address were on a second tab. How could a search bar on the primary sheet "pull through" second tab details like the email address by entering the name of the school?

How do I create a text box where it says Type Here and have the text disappear when you click the text box as they do in various websites? And if left blank, the Type Here would return. Also, Type Here would be a light gray. When you type in a query in the box, it would be default black.

Hello, this video was super helpful for me, thanks for sharing it! I created 3 dependent lists with lots of options within each list. I'm running into a problem though: as I get further down into my spreadsheet and choose from my first list I start loosing the different options I have in the second and third dependent lists that I used to see towards the beginning of the spreadsheet. I think this is because as I go down the possible options for each dependent list the formula goes down one row and the options start to get used up, so I'm left with less options to choose from each list. Would you know how I can fix this!? I tried copying and pasting the formula to each cell under the drop-down "Helper" instead of dragging down like you did, but that ends up only limiting me to the first thread of options of the dependent lists...I hope this explanation makes sense...Thanks!
