Day 1- I took the Hemingway Water Shuttle to Keewaydin. I was on the island roughly 4.5 hours. The tide was getting high but I was still able to find some shells. Day 2 Morning- I took a 3 hour (30 min to the island 2 hrs on the island 30 min back) shell tour via Reel Kind to Kice Island. The shuttle left from the Goodland Boat Park. Shelling on Keewaydin Island on Friday Jan 27, 2023 via Hemingway Water Shuttle. It was very cold (In the 50s) and windy this day but finding so many shells made it worth the trip. We did the 7:45 am departure shuttle from Rose Marina and 2:00 pm return shuttle. So we had a nice long day shelling. The relaxing ride over to the island was about 30 minutes. What time of year was this?
at 2:10 you're the first one I see collecting Noetia ponderosa. I had a gigantic Arcidae/Noetiidae collection (about 1200 specimens), gave it away though due to illness. Another species I miss is the Cut-ribbed Ark, aka the Florida Ark (Anadara floridana). Never seen a hinged one on video. People always value and collect the same species.

Here is the policy from carnivals website ❤ On embarkation day, a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, energy drinks, juice, and milk), packaged in cans or cartons, may be brought on board and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each or less, per person. Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board with the following exception - at the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day only, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring one 750-ml bottle of sealed/unopened wine or champagne, per person, in their carry-on luggage

Hi! Did you have to purchase the excursion through carnival to go to the Atlantis?
Hi! We didn’t book an excursion. We took a local cab to get there. However we didn’t go to the water park. We just went to walk around the resort.
@@JasmineHarris thank you! Now as far as getting on the beach. Is that connected to the Atlantis and did you have to pay for access to that? If so how much? We're crushing in April and I'm trying to avoid the high price excursions they have and still enjoy the island
No the beach is not at Atlantis. The same cab driver came back and got us and we asked him to take us there. The beach is actually about a 15 min walk from when you get off the boat. So you could walk there. And at the beach you can even rent kayaks paddle boats etc. we ate tiki bikini hut. Really good food and you can sit on the beach and eat.

Nice cruise. They ask that you never take sea shells, island fruits etc for safety reasons. Surprisingly you got past security.
Tell me more about this $10 bracelet please
The bracelet is $10 and comes with 4 charms. After that initial purchase each day they had a charm of the day you could buy for $5. So I paid $25 for a bracelet and 7 charms. The little colorful barrels you see I got from effy on the ship for free for coming to the little event they had on the schedule. Hope this helps a little.

Great haul!!! How do you record, when you are walking on the beach? I've tried handheld, but I keep grabbing shells and it gets sideways. lol. Maybe I need to edit better.
Thank you! I record holding my phone in my hand. It definitely slows down the process. If it’s a lot of shells sometimes I just have to put the camera away lol.
