I worked with Steve's brother Terry for years. Terry and I delivered a lawn mower to Steve's house in Parsons, TN. Steve showed me the majority of his collection at the time. Steve is an excellent person as well as an artist.

this was incredible to serendipitously come across as someone working in the space industry. i had read Mr. Oneill's book on space colonies several years back and to finally come across the artist who had created those illustrations is fantastic. thank you for sharing. ad astra.

Wow this is beautiful! His story and approach to his art is so incredible. The documentary ist so well done, especially liked the part where he talks about how he didn't want to leave home and then was told told that he actually draws the exact opposite of what one would consider home :)

Great video from a wonderful channel. Art books have provided me a much-needed escape from real life. I have my easy chair set up with a desk, a lamp, a blanket and a cup of coffee. I spent many hours with dragons, unicorns, space battles, pixies, dark forests and now with my National Geographic books, the vast undersea world of the coral reefs. My art books are the best investments I ever made. the reason its only 4 million is because people think its fake because they don't under stand the science behind it or think its not possible witch is wrong more than wrong its absurdly wrong it all stems from charlatans claiming they had a cure all for all things related to ageing. but this has a real chance of working and in todays world there would be all kinds of people coming out of the would work to call him out if that where not the case today. not only that the governments don't have a plan for all the people that will not die and live to be at least 200 years old or if it gets better in the time you age again 1000 years old. but then again I think they mite have a plan to make mars a habitable planet and give all the people something to do for all the time they will be alive. scratch that. that is the plan they did the same thing back in the day they saw medical tech getting better to where most people would live to be 80-100 years old from now on and back then everyone had kids mostly 2 to 4 leading to a population problem from there eyes so they made the space program on October 1, 1958 to do something with all the people they thought they would have but it did not happen like that. the population rate slowed down by a lot over the years to I think 1.7 when we need 2.1 just to maintain. so why are the space programs starting up again with such intensity because of this people will more than likely stop dying at 100% and more like way less on an over all scale that with. tech getting better with a.i. at a ridiculous rate leading to lots of jobs going up in smoke and more and more people with nothing to do. so of course they would do that. makes scents from my perspective. because when people have to much free time governments get over throne or if people are over worked same thing happens. then the people with all the free time and everything under the sun get pulled down to the poor class and seeing how we all don't want that to happen because there will always be people on top and people on bottom from some ones perspective so all this does more or less is cause disorder which causes shortages which leads to death on massive levels so yeah makes scents.
