This is a 30 Min pilates x strength lower body workout. This routine can be with no equipment as shown, or to intensify- add dumbbells for the standing exercise and ankle weights for the kneeling and glute work. This workout is part of my 3-2-1 Method Workout Challenge for August (see below for free calendar). If having "toned" or rounded glutes is a goal for you, aim to train glutes 2-3x per week, through workouts like this, and with free weights like my other Pilates x Strength workouts. It is important to continually challenge yourself and increase in weight as you get stronger.     Hi Rachel, thanks for this... Quick question, as an overweight person trying to lose weight and thank god (no medical conditions) is it advised to do strength workouts? Will strength slowdown my weight loss? Am around 290lbs

      I believe she's probably going to tell you to add cardio.. the strength won't hurt at all .. the muscle burns fat.. but you have to add the cardio..

    Day 1 but already so difficult. 100 times for the abs were done with 4 breaks... a bit discouraging. I will try day 2 to see if it was just a bad day for me. Thank you for the free content. My goal is to feel stronger and with no pain in my body.

    This is the very first time I'm leaving a comment under a fitness video. I've been gaining a little bit of weight lately, mainly on my belly, glutes and thighs and, since I have to go on vacation to the beach, I decided to start doing something just to feel more confident and attractive. Today is my first day and I have to be honest: although I couldn't really feel my glutes working (I'm still trying to figure out if it's because I did the exercises in the wrong way or if because they were too "easy" for my booty😂🤦🏻‍♀️) I have NEVER been more satisfied than today. I can still feel my core burning!🔥 It's true that when I workout (twice a month, to be fair) I concentrate more on my legs and glutes but...damn! Not a single exercise in my entire life made me feel like this! I love it!😍 Plus, I had a lot of fun! I've always tried to follow some workout programs found on CZcams, but they were the classics, you know? Crunches, jumping jacks, squats and so on. Wall pilates, even if some people don't consider it a real way of working out, is literally on another level! Even if I just started and I still have a lot of work to do, I can affirm that this is gonna be perfect for me. Thank you Rachel for giving us the possibility to do your exercises for free! And thank you for putting in the effort❤

    THANK YOU RACHEL. I HAD A STROKE IN 2020 AND HAVE CONTINUED WEAKNESS ON THE RIGHT, I FEEL THIS WORKOUT IS NOT ONLY DO-ABLE, BUT ENJOYABLE, ESPECIALLY AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE FOR REGULAR EXERCISE OTHER THAN WALKING. ALL MY APPRECIATION!

    I can feel this workout! I’m 58 and had my both of my kids in my late 30’s and early 40’s by c-section so hoping to build up my upper and lower ab muscles and get rid of some menopausal weight. Glad I found your channel. Tried Pilates yrs ago and it just seemed to intense , I like how this is done with the wall and weights are added in. Thanks Rachel!

    Hey! I’m really enjoying your videos! My bubba is 1 now so really wanted to start getting back into shape, I have never done Pilates and although I find some movements challenging I don’t feel myself getting sweaty or heart races I think it’s hard to come out of that mind frame of that I can exercise and enjoy it without feeling sick and like death afterwards! I just pray I’m losing the pounds! On day 5 so far thank you so much! Your body is an inspiration to us mummas!!❤️

    Rachel, I LOVE your 28 Day Wall Pilates! Thank you for making the videos and making them free. I have a group of friends that we do them “together” remotely. We check in on each other by text, it’s great for accountability and has strengthened our friendships. I love the videos that have a count down of how many seconds for each exercise and that count down how many exercises left in the video, ie 5/10 exercises left. If it’s not too much trouble could you add that to your videos. Thanks again!

    Just found you and will be starting this 28-day challenge today! I was wondering, should I be warmed up when I start each session? Also, I use to go for short jogging sessions 3 times per week , can I keep doing this or will it be too much for the body? I'm quite the beginner, been training regularly for just about 3 months 🙂
