The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Chicago returned to the University of Notre Dame on Saturday, 10/5/19 to play with the Band of the Fighting Irish at their regular Concert on the Steps and at halftime. The relationship between the two organizations spans decades, dating back to former ND Band Director Fr. George Wiskirchen's mentorship of Chicago band members during their early years together.

I went to this game. They handed out small paper American flags. Everyone held them up all at once. Not a dry eye in the whole place.
There is no fight song in the Universe better than NDs..not even close...and our Alma Mater is only equalled by that of that of the US Naval Academy..

I watched the ND band pregame at Ross Ade stadium at Purdue in 2013 or 14.
