I knew the Go would eventually be able to handle 4K but the question for me was when. I go tired of waiting and decided the Go 3 at 2.7K was good enough and got it last November. Selling the Go3 and trying to upgrade is not worth it for me so I'm out of this market. Still, your video on it is great, informative and so helpful as always. Thank you Darren!

Major issue, does it have horizon lock while filming in 4K? The 3 only has horizon lock when filming in 1440 but not while filming in 2k. Because of that I never use the 2k on my 3. Horizon lock is one of the main reasons why I bought it. So what it’s important is the ability to record in 4K at 60 with horizon lock. I hope insta360 is reading these comments!

What if i want a horizontal 16:9 video while keeping in Freeframe'd setting with standalone camera in a vertically mounted position? Is all that doable?

If you have a Mini 4 Pro and want to get an Air 3 can you use the same RC2 controller easily? Or is it a pain switching back and forth and just plan to get 2 controllers? What about waypoint missions? Would they work for both models?

So it is only $50 cheaper as the normal GO 3. But, is it worth it $399. Definitely not. I would still go for the GO 2 version. Which has overheating issue, like also data transfer issues 😂

Base on your footage, the 4K output isn't really that good. The image quality looks like 2.7k res blown up to 4k. Was hoping it would be a DJI OP3 killer but it seems like it's not getting there yet. Will wait for the full update version GO 4.

The mini 3 controller died exactly the day after warranty ren out. DJI support are dim. I told them that there is no sign of life when trying to charge,as well as the controller will not turn on ZERO LED ILLUMINATE. Their response: Turn on controller and fully charge it then turn it off and then turn it back on...... WTF.... DON'T BUY PROPRIETARY GARBAGE IE DJI.

I 100% agree with you. I like making videos of interesting places and places that's not going to piss anyone off. If I find there's to many people around I just won't get the drone in the air.

Hello, I want to ask a question. I bought controller 3 today. But I want to use my drone not in manual mode, but only with this controller because I'm used to mini 4 pro. I wonder if I can flip and acro in S and N modes without manual mode?

Both my son and I took the CAA course so we understood where and when we could fly, I live 3 miles from an airport and my house is to the right of the flight path. Coming from an aviation background, I respected the rules. I knew this was coming and sold my DJI during Covid. Some wanker on my estate keeps flying his drone hovering over peoples houses right on the flight path, his drone doesn’t have his CAA registration on it so hasn’t taken the course. It’s coming guys and girls believe me it’s coming. Just down to a few selfish assholes spoil it for everyone

Love at 1:06 Saying we have great weather conditions today, but the screen shows Not Good To Fly 🤣😂regardless love your video's, sub'd as of now. My next update next month will be the Mini 4 Pro, currently enjoying the Mini 2 SE but still afraid to loose eye sight with the drone. And think the 4 Pro will give me more confidence to perhaps fly a little futher with obstacle avoidance depending where I'm flying.
