Never diss Nicholas Hammond 🕷️ Spiderman 👍🏻 i adored that show i own the vhs 📼 lol 😄
I loved the show too…when it was the only Spider-Man live action we could get. That said, if they released the series on DVD or Blu, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. 🤣
@@MovieAssault 🕷️👌🏻🎥
Great summer picks mate 🎥👈🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
Very nice list Sean, And love to hear the stories behind the pics, Seems like you had the same relationship with your dad as mine, but I love hearing these stories from people’s lists because it’s really how everyone became movie fans, you take that one moment in time (insert Whitney Houston’s song here) and it’s really so precious having those memories especially with people who came in and out of your life. Great video.. excited about the announcement..interesting 🤔
Thanks, Kenny! I think that’s why I don’t remember the experience of going to the movies as much now as I did when I was younger. Because, most of the time, I’m by myself. They all kind of run together. What could that announcement be? Hmmm…
I would name The Goonies along with Stand By Me, almost same year It came out in June in the US, it was shot in a port city and it's about pirates! And next year will be the 40th anniversary!
A fine choice…but I didn’t see it until fairly recently. Had I seen it when I was younger, it probably would’ve made the list. Thanks for watching!
Very nice watches Sean. I love the mad max films so looking forward to the new one, the movie pass film was interesting 🤔 Very good films 🎥
Thanks, Kenny. I didn’t watch nearly enough movies last month. Being sick didn’t help. Definitely watch Furiosa when you get a chance! The MoviePass doc made me mad. I had no idea how it was essentially taken over and run into the ground. I thought the founders were morons. But they were the smart guys.
I keep meaning to check out Big Lots - nice haul.
Thanks. You never know what you’ll find.
I thought it was excellent. Definitely getting it when it’s released. I really hope we get another Mad Max film out of George Miller.
I hope so too. I’m getting it Day One. Did you watch til the end of the credits? Supposedly, it’s a hint about what the next movie would be about…if it gets made.
@@MovieAssault I didn’t but I really hope that happens.
Mississippi Burning is such a good movie. I remember watching it when I was 13 or 14 and knowing not much about what happened in states in back in the day. (It was not easy to know as internet was not a big thing then) It shocked me. Just so you know, I am from Poland.
Sadly, there are a lot of shocking things that have happened in US history that even Americans don’t know all that much about. Thanks for watching from Poland!
Ufo Incident sounds good. I still need to watch The Wild Life myself. Nice Gerard Butler set. Beekeeper is typical Statham. I enjoyed it. The Mauritanian is really good. A bit harsh. Night Swim had potential, had the horror factor been better. I just got Poor Things too. Can't wait to watch. Willts Wonderland is fun, but Cage's role is different. Sweet pickups!
It’s really hard to envision The UFO Incident airing on network TV in 1975. It’s just not your typical TV movie nor is it a typical alien abduction story. It’s odd but I liked it. Definitely worth a watch. Thanks for watching!
Awesome Haul
Thank you 🤗
In Willy’s Wonderland, it was a fun movie but it’s a one time watch Nicolas Cage at the beginning of the movie. When his car dies out you hear him say the word shit really low
You’re absolutely right about how did 16 candles get rated PG? They say the F word three times there’s marijuana use and a pair of boobs. lol 😂 I think it was rated PG before PG-13 was a thing and they should’ve went back and re-rated it along with the movie like airplane 2 there is so many pairs of boobs in that movie
I don’t remember it having all that in it. I was just thinking about the subject matter and content. I guess I need to rewatch it. It’s been a few years.
Great cornucopia movies for the month of May 🍻
Thanks!
Poor Things is amazing! Definitely watch it sooner rather than later. Great haul!
I’m hoping to enjoy it. I have an open mind when it comes to creative and imaginative story telling. Not that others don’t, but I tend to be more patient. Thank you for watching!
I watched silent night during Christmas break and I personally did not care for it and thought it was very slow-paced! I also saw night swim in theaters and thought it was ok but not the best!
I’m not sure what to expect from either one. I’ve heard more good things about Silent Night but less so about Night Swim. Thanks for watching!
Awesome 👍
Great Video Sean 👏👏👏👏 I’m planning on watching Fury Road again just because I enjoyed the film, and I’m excited to see Furisosa too. You brought up terrific points about the movie theaters and why some people aren’t going and steaming services, I really think it’s the cost of things, plus theaters have to offer the consumer more incentives to bring them back, I remember the 90s I think it was the regal theater and you buy a popcorn bucket and Movie cup For free refills I think it was 999 and you can bring them back and get free refills whenever you came to the theater, This is when we were going every Saturday so that popcorn and soda container came in handy and plus I think the most repaid for Movies back then was maybe 550 and then it was $10 at night. Very good video very informative
Thanks, Kenny! Fury Road is well-worth watching again no matter what. I wasn’t even going to mention the box office thing but everyone seems to be talking about how the movie is doing poorly because of one reason or another. I just felt that like chiming in about that. I’m old enough to remember going to see a movie and being it packed (nearly - if not - sold out) and never having problems with people being jerks. The prices have always been high and I understand why they are but I don’t want to shell out that kind of money AND have to deal with some group of mutants making TikTok videos in the front row during the movie. (Which has happened at screenings I’ve attended.) Excuse me, I have to go yell at some kids to get out of my yard. 😂
#545 Hi New to Your Channel I'm a CZcamsr Too Fantastic Video Can't wait to see more
Welcome aboard! New videos coming today!
The Cursed is actually awesome!
That's what I've heard from several people now. I'm glad to hear it!
The Cursed is Good!!!!
That’s good to hear! Thanks for letting me know.
Nice pickups Sean! I need to visit Big Lots, it's been awhile, I was giving them a chance to get some new stuff in.
They’ve gotten at least two new shipments in the last month at my nearest location. I’m going to check the other nearby store soon to see if they did as well. The store I’ve been getting good stuff completely stopped carrying movies for a while, so don’t rule those stores out either!
I saw the cursed in theaters with my cousin and really liked it but sadly that's the last movie we got to see together before he was killed!
Oh man. I’m so sorry to hear that.
Very nice pickups 🛻 Sean, “Money Plane” also has Kelsey Grammer as a BAD Guy!! And yes it’s bad, it felt like a long episode of “Hawaii 5-0” I got “the last victim” at Hamilton book and same with “The Cursed” but really good pickups 🛻
Thanks, Kenny. I had a feeling Money Plane was crap, but hearing that Kelsey Grammer is the villain will make it worth a watch! Did you happen to watch The Last Victim or The Cursed yet?
I have not seen either one of those movies but I did watch the trailers for both of them and they did look pretty good. I remember when money plane was at the dollar tree. I’d say about five years ago and I didn’t pick it up, but I watched it on Tubi, I’ll watch anything with Ron Perlman so that’s why I got the last victim and you know I like westerns
I enjoyed The House With The Clock In Its Walls. Just watched Rogue Hostage. Wasn't a fan. Nice pickups!
Thanks, Miranda! Rogue Hostage looked like it would be a gamble but you never know. Was it you that picked up American Traitor? Or am I thinking of someone else?
@@MovieAssault someone else. I already owned it, otherwise I would've gotten it.
All the Disney you’re finding at big lots is probably overflow from Disney movie club that they couldn’t get rid of
I don’t know if it’d be there yet, but maybe. Some of the stuff had Best Buy stickers on it and some was from Walmart.
Great fines
Its finds not fines
That's awesome and congrats on winning the auction. What a great win 🤗🤗 hope you get to feeling better soon 💗
Thank you! I am starting to feel better already. A few more days ought to do it!
Just compare that signature of Richard Dreyfuss with a signature online
I have. It looks legit to me. There is a COA sticker on it. I didn’t notice it until after I made the video.
Hello Sean!! Hope you feel better my friend!
Thank you! Thanks for dropping by!
Okay, that’s TREMENDOUS 👏👏 and they took very good care of shipping it too. Thanks for sharing this and it’s really cool, can’t wait to see it hanging up, And feel better soon 👌
Hey Kenny!
Thank you, my friend. I guess you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. 🤷♂️
Another PA guy!
Yep! Where are you from?
Born and raised in Philadelphia. But now live in Darby, Delaware count.
@themoviebay All the way on the other side of the state! I live in Cleveland now.
Great haul. Alot of great films and definitely some interesting ones.
Thank you!
Into The Furnace is a brutal and underrated movie. Highly recommend.
Very well done. Thst was really Awesome pickups Sean. You really did get some good titles from Kino, I didn’t see that “Theater of Blood” or I would have picked that as well. Love the Buck Rodgers set and really nice pickups 🛻
I've only seen the remake of Journey To The Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraser. It's a fun family adventure flick. The Wave is good. The House is hilarious. American Underdog is fantastic! I haven't seen Road House either. Sound of Freedom is a very hard watch, but the topic is portrayed very well. Great pickups!
If I had to guess I would say big lots is probably getting overflow from the Disney movie club that they can’t get rid of .
I watched out of darkness on a streaming service but I can't remember which one but I thought it was ok!
Huge haul my friend. I love Battlestar Galactica. I'm going to check out Hardcore - it sound interesting.
Hardcore is a really good movie. It’s very grungy and not an easy watch if you’re put off by the sleazier side of life. And, once again, I shouldn’t have watched it when I was 12. 😳
@@MovieAssault I borrowed a movie called Cat People on VHS when I was like 11 or 12. I thought it would be like Thundercats, LOL. My aunts scolded me and my sister when the nude scenes came on.
Oh, the one with Natasha Kinski? Yeah, I saw that when I was too young too. On HBO. Definitely wasn’t Thundercats!
@@MovieAssault Yeah man. I think I gotta watch that someday soon. I only saw a few minutes of it. LOL brings back so many memories
Some fantastic pickups.. Alf is definitely easy on the pockets
Thanks! Right? Alf saves me so much money. But that makes me spend more. 😂
You haven't seen Aladdin and you haven't seen The Lion King - who are you?
I was in my early 20s when those films came out. I worked nights. I wasn’t really the target audience. I just haven’t gotten around to seeing them. 🙂
@@MovieAssault 1992 I was 16, I love Alladdin even now. 1994 I was 18 and I loved the Lion King but cannot understand the total hype around it. I mean, it's great but not as great as people make it out to be.
Back with those two movies came out I was not the target audience, but I wanted to see them anyway I was a big Disney animated fan. fast-forward to 2023 and 2024 I am not a fan of Disney animated movies anymore they’re garbage
With the desperation road just trim the bottom of the artwork and slide it into a bluray case.
@grubbyraccoon4027 are you out there?
Great additions to the collection. Whatnot can be fun to find those deals!
Whatnot is addicting!
I’ve got to say titanic on 4k I’ve got to say you won’t regret buying it is very unusual to see a 4k review that got a 9.9 out of 10 and it being spot on but with in search of physical media’s review of it and me watching it, that took my thoughts of almost perfect review scores and threw them out the window because I never thought a review score of 9.9 would be spot on but it was very spot on. It just shows how much analysis he does with his reviews. I recommend watching this transfer.
That’s encouraging. I honestly hadn’t read or watched any reviews of the transfer. But that’s really good news!
Love alfster - buy there all the time, and from all the other sellers lol. (look for Near Mint Norman... that's me)
I think I’ve seen you. I’ll say hello next time I do.
What % of your collection have you actually viewed? Just curious!
It depends on how you define “viewed”. I buy a lot of movies I’ve already seen. It may take me some time to watch the copy I own, but I’ve seen the movie in my collection. If you use that definition, I’d say 75%.
Akira is a classic for sure!
That Harryhausen set is amazing - Earth VS The Flying Saucers is one I'd never seen. It's got very cool special features. I have the Billy Jack set in my cart right now -I'll probably get it. Awesome haul Sean
Thanks. I hadn’t looked at the special features. I’ll definitely check them out. Harryhausen (and other stop motion artists) had the patience of saints to do what they did. Thanks for watching!
